Little do people know the Phantom nerf doesn't hit until Tempest Patch; Which just occurred in KMS, that's about 8 months from now for GMS.

Yes I do want to play maplestory. I mean I quit A carecter because I've alredy delt with having a carecter's major dmg boosting skill broken. I played my DS when dark meta was broken and yes he did get past 120. I'm NOT willing to do that again.
Also I already know new jobs are going to get nerfed, the kaiser nerf is inevitable, Yet I have plenty of other jobs that will probably never be nerfed.

RedRaven you are not the only one. I came back to MS when DS was released and right when I hit 140 I saw the news that DS was gonna get nerf got horribly. I immediately lost all effort to continue playing. From level 1-140 and just like that I gave up.
However I feel different with Phantom because in comparison to the DS nerf, its not as severe. If you haven't tried playing Phantom at least get it to 120, at 4th job the skills really show

I didnt care about the DS nerf(much) it was the fact that nexen left them broken for what 3+ months that turned me off.

That's what his point was for quitting his Phantom, not the nerfs you brought up. o_O He dealt with one broken skill(that made him suffer huge amounts of DPS loss), and didn't want to do it again. Nothing to do with the nerfs at all, from how I read it anyway.

I could finish Empress V2's with 25 minutes left before the nerf
now I can't kill any of the v2's

30 less seconds of any given buff in a job. Want threaten? You're 30 attack weaker for 30 seconds. How about crash? You're 25% weaker for 30 seconds. Wanna res someone in your party or whatever? You're either without your strongest 1v1 skill for 30 seconds or without sharp eyes.

And that's only skill switching. The 20% critical rate nerf was much more significant.

it wasnt fixed, but there's a technique that makes it so it feels like theyre pinned

20% crit nerf, carte noir probability nerfed, rapid fire got nerfed with 30% damage, cooltime on talents, cooltime on soul steal, nerf on ultimate drive.

before, I did up to 800k's on empress with rapidfire, now I barely top 450.
I did max damage with twilight all the time, now I only do it on bosses(not even all the time either)
I did max damage with rapidfire on every other boss, but not anymore.
I did max with carte noir sometimes, now i barely get up to 600k crits.
