[spoiler=I would've said "Link," but I think more people would understand what this thread was about if I typed "ShiKage."]

scouters look so silly.

Level 40 and your power level is still under 100K? It better ramp up majorly in later levels, wasn't Goku's power level at the end of DBZ like 450M before using kaoken or SSJ?

Something like that, but power levels are measured entirely different in this game than they were in the series. Either that, or everyone is a thousand times weaker and general animals and evil do-ers are thousands of times stronger than they used to be.

I've seen people with as high as a 250k power level. There's probably some people with 300 ~ 400k, though, if not higher.

And scouters are amazing, even though they look strange aesthetically. You can use it to look at other people's gear, search for Dragon Ball mobs, search for quests, find NPCs, and check monster/player stats/power levels.

A typical Shikage post's subject is talking about quitting Maplestory but never actually doing it Rolleyes.

Needs more excessive and mostly unnecessary self-depreciation to be a real ShiKage thread. This is just a cheap Chinese-made copy.

I'm interested.
What's the game called exactly?

This isn't a typical Shikage thread!

These comments are hilarious.

Yeah, Steve. It's Dragon Ball Online. It's only out in Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong at the moment. There are English communities scattered throughout the web, but the one I visit, and the one who has a very good English patch (which translates UI data only) is http://dbocom.com. There are tons and TONS and foreigners of all languages in each version, but most are in the Taiwanese version. I'd suggest playing the Taiwanese version over the Korean version (assuming that's the one you'd go for), unless you know someone in Korea with a Korean cell phone who can activate your account for you. The Korean version's registration process is a b'itch.

There you go. 100k power level.

It could have been higher, but my best shoes blew up upon upgrading. Someone misinformed me on what level armor begins to have a chance of breaking upon upgrading. >_> And of course, I have the absolute sh'ittiest luck when it comes to MMOs, so it HAD to break. 1 in 3 chance and it broke. :| Bah, whatever. At least I can still maintain Super Saiyan. It's just not as easy anymore. It also cost me almost every Zenny I had to get a shoe that was still not as good. :|

Edit : Also, a new skill I got - Big Bang :

Looks like a nice game, but the graphics...

I do have it on the lowest settings possible, but Dragon Ball Online is very cartoony. It works, though. If it were something like Ultimate Tenkaichi, not many people would be able to play it.

Oh god the amount of over 9000 jokes that I want to make. Looks like a strange game, but I never played any DBZ games after ps2.

While that would be absolutely amazing, no. This is an MMORPG. XD

I did a dungeon with a couple of guild mates and this was my power level with a Majin's buffs (They're the support race, basically).

-snip- Apparently, the screen shot didn't take. >_> Oh well. My power level is 128k fully buffed. Big Grin

And in that dungeon, I fought General Tao!

Also, I did a different dungeon a couple of days ago and fought Doctor Gero. Then, today, I did a Time Machine Quest and fought Nappa, Vegeta, Great Ape-Vegeta, Bardock and DBO's own original villain (I don't know his name). I forgot to take screen shots of them, though. Sorry. I'll get some the next time I run it with my guild mates.

Seems nice actually. Too bad it's in japanese. I hate playing foreign language games.
