Event AEE not so A?

I've used one on all of my equips that didn't already have a star, which is about eight equips, and none of them blew up, so I find this hard to believe.

Personally have used 6 on non-weapon equipment without incident. Are all the reports talking about destroyed weapons? Even if the success rate isn't 100% as advertised it's still high.

Leaving it in the rumour mill for now until more conclusive evidence is given.

Used over 10, and nothing wrong. I've heard of the rumors as well.

Used three (2 from event and 1 from Evil box) on a new spear I am making.. (With no wards -_-) and it didn't boom.. so yeah, calling bullshit on this one.

I've used like 7+ on no-starred equips already and no boom so far.

I think they've been using it on 1-starred equips because of "ooo 90% should be fine"...

Or people are simply spreading these kind of rumors because they have a few AEEs they need to sell :trollface:

used 9 so far on items with 0 stars, all passed, gotta agree with those saying peeps used them on 1* items thinking it would be ok, or just saying items boomed on first try for luls.....

Honestly pomegranate like this isnt believable until some1 says that they blew up their own wep on first enhance, I know of a guy who forgot he already had a star on his vip bow and used an aee(it passed) so ya...

Actually it's been proven already. It's the same "bug" as 100% GM scrolls failing on an item. The scroll isn't 100%, it's 99-99.x% for some godawful reason. Meaning the scroll *CAN* fail. And you are completely Nieve if you think someone is going to fraps this, and who the hell would WASTE perfectly good AEE's on junk items?

However, this could also be related to other glitches as well. It's already been PROVEN that shielding wards can destroy your items just by using the ward ITSELF, if you have a white scroll AND a dark scroll in your inventory at the same time.

To save you all alot of grief: if you EVER use a shielding ward, AEE or special pot scroll, and you get a "do you want to use a white scroll?" message, immediately alt tab and "end task" on the game right away. And NEVER have any dark scrolls in your possession, period.

I have a feeling that the people blowing up items were using legendary spirit. There have been tons of bugs with Legendary spirit and special scrolls in the past...

Well guys sure there is no proof here and I myself haven't had it happen or seen it but that might just be because it's rare? And maybe there's a glitch that can make a sword turn into a random gun upon scrolling but it's very, very rare.
That's what we call an argument from ignorance, and it is a logical fallacy.
The burden of proof lies on those claiming that such a glitch exists, not on the ones who believe it doesn't.
