Empress Summoning Instructors

Ok, I know most of you who do empress in other worlds do not wish to share information on strategy of defeating the 5 Instructors, and that isn't what I am looking for here. I am looking for input on if your group has ever had problems getting her to summon the 5 instructors after the minions are gone. There are times when she seems pleased to spit them out at us almost immediately then there are other times she has to be encouraged on bringing them out. So have any of you run into the similar situation and do you feel its still a programming glitch or if she was designed this way? Honestly we have had runs where she wouldn't summon them at all.


:: The reason I say still a glitch is cause we have noticed her do the Summoning animation but you do not see the blue orbs and nothing comes::

I'm inclined to believe that she was designed to be a b'itch to begin with and that's why she behaves this way. It would be even funnier if thieves or pirates end up getting a skill to "taunt" her into using her summons right there.

We seem to be experiencing problems on both ends. We have no problem with the auto aggro and getting to the point where she should summon. Make me wonder if the method we are using to deal with her is causing her to become a about bringing the big boys out. I will admit we have had A LOT of fun testing out MANY methods and approaches to tackling empress and her crew.

Confused as to how auto-aggro makes it harder now, but I guess that would have to do with your strategy.

Auto-aggro means constant tornado attacks, genesis and being turned into a pig while trying to attack her.

With auto-aggro back, Empress can actually attack, making it a little more difficult to lower her HP.

I know what it means, thanks, and it's not much different from before for us. Like I said: Probably has something to do with strategy.

as for the summons... its totally random, really, as bryan mentions, you have to lower her HP to get her to summon, but even then she sometimes does not want, and others we just finished with the last of the 5 knights, and she has immediately summoned the cygnus after a nado or two.

I understand why everyone is so secretive about how to kill empress(money) but why do u still care now? You could work together to find the fastest most efficient way to kill.

considering everyone is on different servers, i totally agree.

Because then those lazy cheapass squads that go into the boss to deflate the market show up because they now have a plan they would never have come up with on their own.

And knowing most people, having a step by step guide would STILL be too hard for them to follow and they would beg for some easier way. *thinking back to 3hour HT runs*

Never experience a 3 hour Ht run though (too noob at the time), But yeah it'll probably deflate the market but why do u guys care in the first place. im sure you guys have enough mesos to boot and even if u didn't. u would have the ability to get THE BEST equipment in the game. (and i mean the best).

But yes me and the group I run with have invested TONS of NX in buying wheels and getting to the point where we are now so I am not completely ready to release a step by step guild for everyone to "leech" off of. But if you wish to PM me I dont mind comparing notes if you like.

You can never have enough money. In my case, I don't have any money.
Once I cubed my gear and stuff I haven't had more than 1b at a time for over 24 hours; it's expensive keeping up with the little things.

The hackers tried killing it in Bello and failed, many lulz were had.
As for wheels, those 1 day 99 nx wheels are wonderful.

It's pretty clear each server has their own strategy as to how to do this and that with Cygnus and how to make her do this and that etc etc but we all know it comes down to being a race to see which server can down her first for bragging rights, when and if she ever gets unglitched. And until that is done, nothing will be shared directly as to how to do everything.
