Come up with the next million dollar idea!
#1
You've been hired by Nexon to come up with their next million dollar idea, but there is a limit, it must be a new and original idea, so nothing like Super Hyper Cubes adding 5 lines, or potential for potential.

Also, try to keep any smart insulting comments towards Nexon out of this thread. No "If I was hired by Nexon I would take the company down" or "I would make an idea that would make people quit the game"

With that out of the way here is my idea.

An item when bought and turned on would make all buffs whether casted by you or your party members last 10 minutes, it would also make auras stay outside of a BM's range and would keep buffs from being dispelled.

>Implement character EXP to 50% a day at levels 1 ~ 120, 25% for 120 ~ 160, and 10% for 160 ~ 200.
>Sell infinite fatigue potions in the cash shop for $5 a pop.
>Fatigue Potions raise your EXP limit per day by 50% at levels 1 ~ 120, 25% for 120 ~ 160, and 10% for 160 ~ 200.

Daily server-wide lotteries. Each entry only costs 10 NX with Nexon keeping 10% for themselves. The more times you enter, the more chances you have to win. The winner gets everything in the pot.

Somewhat unoriginal: Potential line locking. Lock a specific potential line so that when you recube, that line stays the same. Now you can cube your perfect 12/12/12 item.

Farm system, somewhat stolen from JMS.
Can plant your own flowers/veins, and use more CS items to enhance their growth speed and/or output. Also can plant Cash Trees that generate Nx at a slow rate when you're online. Could feasibly offset the amount of Nx needed to create it, but that would require you to be on for 24 hours straight for the whole week it lasts.
Also would have new item pots which you can grow boxes that can give rewards similar to those from the Evil Spirit box. No more of those namby-pamby Brightest Diamonds.
I can make these up all day, want more?

Nice idea, but 50% at level 1 is a little silly. If I were to go with this, I'd change it to unlimited EXP per day until at least lvl 30 and then cap it.

An item that makes everything you craft come out with the best stats and hidden potential.
An item that halves the recipe requirements.
An item that lets you retain recipes after use or expiration.

+5000 Trait EXP potions, seperate potion for each trait, 2k NX each, bypasses cap, unlimited use. Increase trait level caps to 200 with new perks and medals along the way.

Actually make that 2.5k NX. $_$

It would completely kill any notion of a new player base.

At level 120, you unlock the ability to purchase an heirloom item (yup just like WoW). This can be sent to any of your other characters, below level 120, to reduce the amount of experience it takes to level by 50% each level. Works until that character hits 120

Cash Shop Item to make all kinds of untradeable items permanently account tradeable.

Slash SP reset prices by 95%, and implement an in-game SP reset book for 100m~250m mesos.

People will actually buy SP resets then!

Bring back permanent CS outfits.
FM tradeable CS items, all of them.
LT system for enchanting on CS outfits (+3%-5% exp or drop) and enchanting on pets (20 levels of enchant per core stat, each enchant adds 1-3 to that stat, sold ingame, and an enchant for 10% attack/mattack sold in CS or as a rare drop).
REMOVE HORRIBLE TAX ON MTS. This will encourage more people to actually use it.

SP resets on every job advancement (or ten levels after it).

Maple Babies. They follow you around, like pets. They can level and, I guess, sorta job advance. They get no attacking skills but they get support skills.

This idea from another perspective would be that married characters can create a character that has skills from one of the parent's class. For example, on the character creation menu, you'll get an option to select which class you want to inherit skills from. Maybe have quests to unlock parent skills.

Authenticators.

The only ideas I would be able to come up with would be transitioning from F2P with microtransactions to a P2P model.

must it have to do with nx?

upon reaching 120 or 160, allow us to buy 1 stat for 1-2m meso. shows up as +stats, not as base and is permanent.

satisfies damage whores, fixes economy. who wouldnt want more stats?
