That's what we were doing... It'd take forever to get enough for 75 emblems and I just don't want to spend that much time.

So mostly off topic but,

I've noticed that PVP is not held on "normal" channels. If that's the case, how feasible would it be for Nexon to enable cross-server PVP? It'd be unfair in the 180+ tier, but since stats are mostly irrelevant in the others, it'd be a relatively fair playing field. And it would probably solve the lack of players, and prevent the utterly depressing idea you guys are describing: killing mostly afk people for emblems.

PvP cannot be made back alive (nevermind in Yellonde) until they fix the lag, that at least every1 outside America experiance.

PvP is dead because it sucks in all ways possible. If you like, I'll gladly invite you to my home so you can play from Finland, let's see how you like it when all skills come with 3 seconds from when you have pressed the key. Including OS. This means that each SWING of OS has a delay, meaning that you will be lucky to successfully make 2 first swings of OS.

My internet connection is the best I can get here, my computer has enough power to handle a spam made by a hacker thats supposed to dc me. There's no real reason why I should lag in PvP other than Nexons fail code.

How laughable.

You're saying that the only reason PvP is dead is because players outside North America lag.
That's an absolute lie.

If they would fix the HP ratio back to what it was originally and ensure that hackers couldn't reign, PvP would be just fine.

Wow, this thread actually just brought the PvP rewards change to my attention.

Guess this is what happens when no one PvP's; you don't even realize the rewards change. Rolleyes

Lots of post-Legend changes that we're getting. Monocle

The new PvP rewards are definitely making PvP worth doing again, there has been a recent increase of PvPers in Mardia because of the Rising Sun Equips. However I still would think getting a cHTP is much easier. Also for those of you who are are saying you need 12 in cave, the minimum to get drops is 10 in cave, 12 in expedition. That's at least how I do my runs anyways, and I still get drops.

I can't PVP on my Aran with the lag between swings, and I live in the north side of California, the servers (I assume) are in South California... so..... I shouldn't be lagging, but I do.

With the Dragon Stone, HT neck does more all stats, does the hp/mp% more defense.
The 6 slots on accessory scrolls for a 10% scroll will get you 3 stats a scroll, or 18 total (single) stats for all the slots, CHT gets 15 all +stats from Dragon Stone, leaving 2 extra slots to do with as you please. Like 6 more power stat. (21 single stat, 15 all others)
Not to mention the Chaos Scrolled HT necks running around with 300-450 extra def/mDef.

The set bonus comes at the cost of wearing fairly plain set pieces, a bad ring and an o.k. belt your total bonuses could be better with other specific loot that is not part of the set netting you less over all productivity for going with the set itself.

Sadly you can't just use 3 dragon stones on CHT neck and get +45 all stats, it flags it after the first one so you cant use another.

Just passing one of the BDSM scrolls gives it +3 w.att and m.att which makes it beat CHTP right off the bat.

The changes to PvP rewards are from Jump

That's not lag; that's the built-in delay in every PvP skill.
Bad planning on Nexon's part? Yes.
Intentional? Technically.

Generally, 12 attack is worth much more than the extra primary/secondary stats provided by CHTP.
Let's not forget that, since they both already have attack, you can also throw Chaos Scrolls at them resulting in up to 5 extra attack per scroll.

The extra Def on a CHTP is relatively meaningless for many classes.

As for the rest of the Rising Sun set, I'm not sure what you're getting at.
The ring is far from "bad"; it gives just 1 less attack than all of the currently available best rings outside of the Dark Angelic.
The belt is actually the best one out there.
Regardless, the Pendant doesn't need the rest of the set to be great.

I do agree with your assessment that it's not worth to get the set, however. None of the bonuses are very special.
For example, you'd be better off just getting and Chaos Scrolling one of the new Hoblin PQ earrings for attack than bothering with the Rising Sun earring.

The only reason to bother collecting the set is to prepare to turn them into set #51 when the Legend update hits.
