5.8 earthquake in Washington

It was felt all over the eastern coast; I felt it here for about 15 seconds in Georgia.

A bunch of places in NY are shutting down (JKF Airport, etc).

Felt it here in Salem, Virginia. Me and my Grandma were pretty much shocked.

I mean 5.9 is quite strong, something you don't see everyday around here.

Felt it in central North Carolina.

Did not feel a thing north of Boston, MA

The depth was actually reported at 4 miles. The quake was felt as far south of Georgia, as far north as Vermont and New Hampshire, and as far west as Indiana and Illinois.

No casualties at all so far. Everyone was apparently very calm.

Exactly what I thought. At least fucking specify which Washington: the state, or D.C. Irritating.

Annapolis MD, shattered one of the stairwells, overall the building is safe, but it was a good 15 seconds of to the point my monitor slapped me across the face. There's no phone reception at all.

Didn't feel it in northern New Jersey. Noticed that cell reception is shoddy though (as Khaini said). Not sure if related.

Central Indiana here, I can confirm this. My dad and I noticed it while we were eating. It was a rather gentle rocking as far as we felt it.

I have a slight cut over my eyebrow but im fine lol. it caught me by surprise because it shook the monitor* so hard it knocked it over and clocked me over the forehead by the corner lol. It was instant BOOOM SHAKE

And I felt it too here in NYC. Several places are indeed closed, included City Hall evac'd.

We didn't feel it over here in my lab in RTP for some reason...
