Anyway, I'm not sure why you guys think it's okay to start suggesting a million other animes to watch when someone is willing to watch one. It's like you're into drugs and your friend is like "Okay. I'll try pot. But that's it!" and then suddenly before they've even started you're like OH MAN I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL WE'RE DOING HEROIN TOGETHER, I'VE ALSO GOT A TON OF CRACK IN THE BACK THIS WILL BE AWESOME. I didn't make an anime discussion, I asked for a stream. At most this should've been a thread about Cowboy Bebop / me watching an anime because it is so unexpected. It shouldn't have turned into a OMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGG TRY THIS AND THIS AND THIS thread. That's not how you should react to someone asking for something.



I get motion sickness and when I was growing up I didn't go on rides at amusement parks because of it. I would often go to the theme parks with my friends as a teenager though because it was still fun just to hang out. They were always trying to get me to go on but I refused (though I had been on the past and got sick). Eventually I gave in and went on a rollercoaster at Wonderland and while I got sick, I still really enjoyed it, and upon saying those few words I was suddenly being forced onto EVERY RIDE AT THE PARK and suddenly I hated my life. The rest of the day was miserable and I was bedridden for like 3 days afterward.


The reactions to this thread reminded me a lot of that. Just because I'm willing to go on one rollercoaster doesn't mean I want to go on every ride in the park or that I will suddenly start liking all rides. I just wanted to see what it was like, and while one may be good, the rest are still going to make me sick.

So I heard you were looking for anime recommendations.

I also had motion sickness when I was little. The main reason why I preferred SeaWorld and Legoland than Six Flags.

I don't know why you guys don't enjoy long anime's, I love them, it gets me so much more into the story. I hate the short ones.

Take that back, I do enjoy the short ones but it's like a guy finishing up sex before the girl. It's just damn disappointing to everyone!

If it was someone who enjoyed anime or was actually trying to break into anime, I would of suggested stuff. But I have to defend Sarah on this (not in such a "You guys have garbage recommendations" kind of way). She's not into anime, doesn't even really like the idea of anime as far as I can tell and she's giving one a shot to do just that, give it a shot.

If she enjoys it and wants more, she'd make a thread about it. Those who are suggesting are probably making her feel deterred away from watching the rest of Cowboy Bebop solely on the fact that she can't even make it through half the episodes of one anime without another one being shoved into her queue. ( I do suggest you finish Cowboy Bebop and stay away from this thread. It's like watching a new anime that's currently airing and going to /a/ and just looking at all the spoilers, it ruins it for you entirely.)

I don't know, maybe it's just because I was used to a care-free attitude from him, if he ever had it.

Action-anime's basically exaggeration. I've not seen Cowboy Bebop, but I think it's the same. There are some other animes that's not like that. I won't recommend them though, since you asked me not to <3
