Don't recommend anime here. You all watch garbage.

I am willing to give one anime a chance and have decided that anime will be Cowboy Bebop because it seems the most tolerable. But I need a stream and can't find one. I need your help, Southperry.

I remember in 10th grade, we had a student teacher for World History. He was a guy in his fifties, trying to rekindle his career I guess. For some reason one day, he was telling us about TV shows and then mentioned that he loved Cowboy Bebop.

He was a horrible teacher, though.

If you're not dead set on Cowboy Bebop, you could try an anime with a legal stream. Check Hulu.

cowboy bebop for a classic anime that's easy for non anime peoples to get in to

Ghost in the Shell for a classic-ish anime that sparks interest is social theory. It gets into wonderful discussions about various subjects at some points. I loved it. Hell it even discusses meme theory and how it affects the masses and can cause weird events among the populace :O it requires that you listen and remember most of the conversations though. it's very conversation driven, but also has lots of action.

You might want to look it up. I'm specifically aware that it's you Sarah, that I'm talking to... and I'll still recommend that you at least see the description and maybe an episode or two of this specific one.
