Samsung got sued by apple for making 1 phone look similar to the iphone when they were just trying to be colorful with their App Drawer squares. Now they got no hardware coming in from samsung, which means they have to rely on other semi conductors to make them a 1.2GHZ Dual Core for iPhone 5.
HTC Samsung and HP's Web OS should be the triopoly of the phone market.

I like my Apple products. I don't like Android. I don't like Symbian/Meego. iOS is a bit stale, but I can and do jailbreak. The only other mobile OSes that interest me are WP7 and WebOS. The biggest problem with those is that they typically have uglier hardware than Apple. Do I care about form just as much as function? Yes, absolutely. Do I like OSX? Again, yes. It works for what I need it to. Not to mention most(there are a couple out that don't) Windows laptops look like absolute pomegranate and have terrible battery life.

Anyway, I think most people have more money than trillions in debt. It's just not everyone can spend trillions without paying it back.

iOS was the last thing that was good that apple produced. It had a chance to beat Windows for both consumers and developers. And they have already abandoned the process of improving that for milking money out of consumers with unoriginal ideas.

People who start arguments about PC vs Mac are worse than any of all your assumptions about people who buy PCs or Macs. All your points consist of, "You pay too much!" vs. "Yours is a cheap piece of sh`it!" When I made my prior post I had hoped people WOULDN'T argue this again.



New arguments please, because in fact, the iPod Touch, iPad, and iPhone are competitively priced (in case you've been out of the loop for the last 4 years). PCs have gotten much better quality-wise, lately, as well.

I paid $2,200 for my MacBook Pro and I DIDN'T pay "too much" because my MBP is better in every way than almost every PC laptop you can buy, and is much sturdy and has a much higher resale value than your sh`itty laptop. Please stfu, I decide what is too much, as well, so how can YOU tell ME I paid too much? It's my money, ISN'T IT? I think I'll decide that, thanks.

When people who make PCs learn how to design nice looking laptops, I will stick with Mac. So shove it, 'cause it ain't your business. I'm sick of being grouped and judged online by a bunch of jerks with nothing better to do because they want to feel better about themselves and/or their purchases.

But that's going to be standard for most Android phones in the next few months. I mean, damn, we've had dualcore-processor Android phone reviews since flipping January. If that's all Apple's flagship iphone5 offers, won't it pretty much pale in comparison? They could go for the 3D hype, but they've also already been beaten to the punch in that market.

By no means do I imply iPhones are sh'it. Man, Apple took the lead in most of our current electronics products, I wouldn't dare say they suck. But look, a handicap is no excuse for losing a fight.

If you don't mind having bad hardware, and don't mind having an appliance as a computer, go iOS. It does boast some of the best audio editing software.

If you wand a middle of the road computer, and aren't a complete fucktard on the internet (so you don't get viruses), go Windows.

If you want a computer for programming or for a server computer, go Linux.

Ultimately, they all have strengths and weaknesses. Nothing is really better than the other, because they all can't do everything.

If you don't mind having bad hardware, and don't mind having an appliance as a computer, go iOS. It does boast some of the best audio editing software.

All of the applications that have actual, real world usages (meaning, not games and other recreational activities) run on Linux as well, and far better, at that. Mac has the upper hand when it comes to graphics editing and arguably CAD programs, but Linux is better at everything else. Mac's stability is over-exaggerated by a longshot, which is one of its main selling points.

If I were forced to do so, I would rank the current OSs as such;
recreational usage - Windows > a broken toaster > Mac > Linux/Unix
professional usage - Linux/Unix > Mac > Windows

Not to mention that GIMP and a few other Linux versions of graphical editors are arguably equal to Mac's own apps, technically leaving Mac's only forte at architectural and drafting software.

It seems like the majority of the most outstanding computer engineers are using Mac both there and in my university, but this is by no means a representative number, and "outstanding" isn't defined so eh.
