You use internet explorer?

Eh... I only tend to use FireFox for downloading media. Firefox requires too many add-ons to be decent and then becomes slow because you have those add-ons.

well ... they didn't really need to do a study to see if this were true or not. Someone who is willing to experiment is going to be smarter than someone who goes with what's given to them.

personally I use firefox. I used chrome back when it first came out and didn't like it. I'm sure it's a lot better now and if I decided to download it again I know I'd like it, but all my bookmarks and settings are already on firefox so I just stick with it.

I only use IE to download chrome/FF on a new pc. After that it gets removed from desktop and gets forced to live in a corner and eventually dies. I use chrome now 90% of the time (FF if i have issues with chrome which is rare) I just like how fast and clean it is.. Loads up so much faster than FF/IE.

I pretty much only use IE, except in the past when I used Opera and Chrome, Opera being the second most used for me. They are so right, I am resistant to change.

Hell the only websites I go to often are this one, Facebook, YouTube, my school's and various wikis. Sad? D:

I mainly use Chrome, but when Chrome starts to spaz out (which happens every now and then) I switch to IE9. Chrome is more aesthetically appealing, yes, but I love how IE9 looks when I scroll down the page.

/been using FF since ~'05, I think it was version 1.5 or something. Nowadays I use it because I've just gotten used to it, and I've never had any problems with it.

Shikage is sort of right in the slow thing though. FF is known for being a memory hogger, so it's not the most efficient browser in that aspect.

If you use one too many mem heavy programs, FF will start to slow down. Too many addons will add to that too.

Other than that, FF seems pretty reliable.

IE in the other hand used to be a pain to deal with. I remember running into error/unsupported pages and getting window popups constantly. And it used to be pretty slow compared to FF back then. Also, Tabs. Can't comment about how it is nowadays because I just don't use it (except when I need to download FF).

I think it's a great idea. Google updates Chrome enough to warrant the need for such update methods. If I want my website's favicon not to be stretched to the required 1:1 dimension ratio, I wouldn't have to wait half a year for the next version of firefox rolls around.

Nope, it's a terrible idea. Changing pomegranate without our permission and without actually telling us what's changed is a huge issue. Same thing with firmware on the PS3/3DS/anything that gets updated. Don't update without my permission, and tell me what the pineapple you're doing. Not to mention the update process suddenly takes up a lot of memory and slows everything else WAY down.

And uh, my firefox updates at least once a week. With my permission. And a changelog.

Everyone is farming your information. True story. The positive - if you can call it that - thing with Google is that the information isn't really given to third parties - Google use it to advertise stuff for you instead.
