Hex of the Beholder + Combat Orders = borked
#1
Describe the problem. Be as specific as possible!:

So while I was with a random party at LHC, there was a Pally in my party that was casting Combat Orders. But I noticed something wrong: my Beholder wasn't buffing me every 12 seconds while Combat Orders was on (Hex of the Beholder). And it is somewhat of an annoying bug since I cannot be buffed with additional ATT from my Beholder.

What level is your Hex?

From what I understand, this is a bug that there is no fix for, I've had a couple DKs chew me out because of this exact thing.

Had to cancel out CO every time that Pally activated it, lol.

yeah this has been an ongoing problem. This is almost as bad as apples only giving DrKs 40atk instead of 100. (due to both hex and dragon's blood conflicts with any attack pots)

Didn't I already make a thread for this? Huge deja-vu.

Lol ignored. ;_;

Anyway, it has nothing to do with negative cast interval, if anyone is suspecting. Since both level 18 (mine) and 15 (Will's) are far from approaching 0 sec per cast.

the glitch happens at all beholder levels, however, at level 20 hex, it is less of an issue since the buffs last one minute, so you have a whole minute to deactivate CO, but it's a pain, because if someone buffs while doing this, you can deactivate something else.

so as i said jokingly back when i first noticed, paladins are the new bishops in the eyes of a DrK.

and we also have the beholder's hex+apple glitch back again, but backwards now, hex now does stack with apples and such, but stops recasting it'self, so it's one minute of hax, and then just apple/gelt buff

At least you can still get party buffs (SE/MW) from people using CO... sucks that you have to choose between extra %s on berserk + mastery, or +35 atk.

it's really not a "pick one" thing, you go with the 35 w.attk, 2% more damage is nothing compared to that.
however, as i said, if you are appling/gelting, you can leave CO on since, well, you won't be getting buffed anyways.

C.O. breaks Pierce too, but only on the 7th target - that being if it hits over 1m damage (not that hard) it does 0 dmg instead and shows up as a miss.

Well we DID make the game a joke, might as well affect skills in the process as well, huh?

I mean worst case, the DrK would have to be "outside" the buffing circle, as to not be hit by CO by mistake and then the other classes would have to buff the DrK on the side :|

Kinda sucks I did not know this as I had a DrK in my LHC group last Friday.
