Does anyone else find all these new rings to be kind of ridiculous?
#1
2 level 17 rings
2 zombie rings

+500 hp
+200 mp
+200 def
+16 str/dex/int/luk
+10 speed
+10 accuracy
+10 avoidability
+10 hands
+4 jump
+10 weapon attack.

On a level 1 character.

Resistance/Lilins Ring, 2 level 17 rings, and a Zombie Ring will result in
ATK +13
M.ATK +13
STR +18
DEX +18
INT +18
LUK +18
HP +430
MP +130
ACC +10
Avoid +10
HANDS +10
Speed +10
Jump +4
W.DEF 200
M.DEF 200

On a level ten character.
Does anyone else find this to be kinda' insane?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I figured it would be a fun little thing to talk about.

Let's also go a step further and say that you've got a 120 Cygnus Knight for the blessing skill, and a 10 attack work glove.

That's a total of +47 attack.Stunned
At level ten.

To put this even more in perspective, the level ten sword you get for advancing as a warrior has 27 attack.

From nothing more than a few easily obtainable rings(well, except for the lilins/resistance, but hey.), A lot of hard work on your knight, and a glove that you can make for free if you're lucky. (Farming the 60% glove attack quest on new characters,) you can get an extra 47 attack. This is basically ridiculous.

I can't be the only one who's a little amazed by this.

The Evolve rings alone make it rather crazy, cause they're essentially better than all rings in the game until what? 110-120+ from the JC profession, IF EVEN?

Evolving Ring II
Return of the ring! From March 9th to April 3rd, Maplers can login everyday to raise an Evolving Ring II to level 17. This ring is different than the first Evolving Ring and you can wear both at the same time!

First event, they didn't stack after level 1, which means it'd be the same for the 2nd event, but in this case, the lvl 2 ring DOES stack, so in other words...reading events is tech!

This is a bit rediculus, but people said that about Lilin's ring when it came out and it was alone back then. On top of that, it is nothing compared to the potential system, which can double, triple, or quadruple your damage.

I've just gotten to the point where I accept that things become more broken and evolve in games as time passes, and as long as they arent going to take away my hard earned items I dont mind them adding in new oppertunities.

The rings aren't good enough. In fact I demand full speed/jump/25k hp total when I equip these rings.

2 years ago, I thought the ring slot was for cash items only. lol

Rings should have slots.

You can also add those nx rings on top of that, and get 4 more all stat I believe.

Think they're ridiculous now? Wait until the Chaos patch. Then you'll know the true meaning of ridiculous.

The stats the rings provide on a lvl 10 character is crazy good. However, a new player would not have these rings and so begins the game with nothing, same as everyone else did. The obvious intention is to provide older players motivation to make a new character since it is so easy now with all the equipment they have gathered on their origional character. Then the person (in Nexon's mind) will hopefully purchase nx for their new character in the cash shop (exp cards when available, pets, new clothes, charms, etc) and Nexon makes a profit. Besides this keeps older players from getting bord by providing insentive for them to try something new. Nexon needs their players to not get bord and to always have reason to make purchases in the cash shop. I can see how this would help with that plan.

The whole point being made wasn't for new players, it was for old players making new characters.

Having about 80 m.atk is only part of what made my low level battle mage ridiculous..

There will be some folks wearing two level 17 rings and two level 16 rings, that's going to be the best you can get unless nexon adds better rings or changes the current ones.
