I'm not sure about HyperHopper, since I didn't pay attention to Southperry too much when he was around, or at least I stayed away from where he posted. However, Larmie? He deserved every thing he got here... In fact, I believe he deserves a punch in the face or two. That guy was a massive dick and constantly bashed people without a second thought. Sure, he had his moments where he was useful, but for the most part, he was just a pathetic douche.

I remember a thread where I tried defending Hyperhopper because I felt like he was a nice guy who wanted to do his best to fit in and unfortunately he spoke out his opinion on gays and I think that's what really caused him to be disliked (this could be because of his upbringing). It's pretty sad that Hyperhopper has become something of a joke around here; he's a genuinely nice guy who doesn't deserve all the hate he's been given. If people were nicer, I'd bet more people would post a lot more. Seeing posts like Sarah's really does not make me feel comfortable posting and having to be wary if my post contains logical fallacies (or face being insulted) just gives me more reason not to tell people my opinion on different matters.

When he joined SP, everyone welcomed him as well as they could, and he was the one who came up with all the whinning, and every single post he made, sounded like a silly peach, a complete plantain, he had all oportunities to be nice with everyone, and what has he done?
He just responded any and every greeting with "You people must know you're doing something illegal, you people are inferior, my life is way better, too bad i'm under japan laws, but you people are free from those and can continue commiting crimes arond the internet".

If I were narrow minded and thought that one person represented a country in its entirety (like I see a lot of generalizations about Americans for the lot of idiots that roam our country), I would probably hate the Japanese due to Larmie's actions and words. He was always trying to down-size me and anyone else that tried confronting him --- mostly the ones who play(ed) JapanMS.

Any conversation I started with him, it would lead to him being a d'ick about me playing JMS, just like what Aslemn just stated. Dennis tried being nice and saying "hi," but Larmie was like, "Go away. I don't want to have any connection to you because you're a bypassing, KSing f'aggot from Kaede years ago and I want nothing to do with you." Dennis isn't even a KSer and his IP definitely isn't blocked from the service, so he's not technically bypassing ANYTHING and he's definitely not the type of person to KS someone unless provoked.

That Larmie kid was always looking for drama. It's a shame... I was really hoping for someone to talk to to help improve my Japanese or learn about Japan from, but no... His inflamed ego lead to his being hated instead.

Remember back when those of us who play JMS couldn't anymore because the IP blocks became way worse? Larmie ran around the forums flaunting how he was the ONLY PERSON on Southperry who could play JapanMS. As soon as we could play again, he started being a massive d'ick toward us. >____>


I'm not even going to get into the other drama/stupid shi't he posted here on Southperry, since I tried paying no mind to them. It was mostly the fact that he bashed the hell out of those of us who played JMS and for me for trying to learn Japanese that I hated him so much. I still wish I could meet him in real life just so I could beat the over-inflated ego out of him.
