@LoyalOath - Its another Anego. You can have teamwork while fighting it without Stun, Poison, Doom, and Web.

You get a a DK, High Level warrior(s), some ranged attacker(s). DK gives HB so they all can stay alive. High Level Warrior keeps it pinned away from ranged attackers by rushing it to a wall. Ranged attackers keep it pinned on wall.

Hell, on the first day when Phantom Forest was released, I came across 2 Bigfoots. You had a lot of people attacking it from both sides and we did completely fine and no one was working together. We were all FFAing.

I'm going to lol if they ban Yellonde "glitchers." What a pomegranate company, seriously.

True that they aren't that great of a company, but not for the reason you specified. Unfortunately, many Mardians, particularly those from Eternity, do not seem to grasp that millions of EXP in 40 seconds has to be a mistake on Nexon's part.

Its problematic however trying to estimate some things because they have plans. Said plans could be damn near anything(remember herb town and Mu Lung?), but they like to leave us hints because the little bit of speculation it causes makes for whats been a good promotional tool.

As for failures, remember the Loki boxes from last year?
Fun was never so deadly. Too bad they screwed them up before their time.

They seem to have something special planned for the guys who went all out just to level off of the big feet.
And for the Nth time, they are not gonna do a rollback, they didn't have to do one for the guild issue, there is no need for one now.
There are tools for that stuff, they have had to be creative before.

I have no confidence in Nexon to deal with the abusers. A complete wipe of Yellonde is about the only way to be sure you got everyone...and then there is the matter of all those in the other servers. Nexon's idea to deal with them is to look the other way and act as if it never happened.

The sad part is, I came home not knowing the about this announcement and went to hunt some badges and saw only saw a few bigfoots, both which were being webbed lol. Guessing this announcement isn't known by everyone, or lots of people are just going to ignore it and level even faster than everyone else, since most people are stopping.

I'm sure they realized it, they just actually had some faith that Nexon still was a somewhat-decent company. A competent company would have acknowledged their mistake and fixed it, or at least attempt to fix it, shortly and apologize for the inconvenience. They wouldn't have two different representatives give two different opinions of whether it was a glitch or not, then threaten to "ban" those poisoning Bigfoot for supposedly "not listening to them." Especially since at the time glitchers started, the only public notice defended poisoning Bigfoot.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you were busy typing this post while I was saying it was a joke.

About the bigfoot being different thing, I've heard that if you fight it normally, when it gets knocked back (?) it's invulnerable for a little while (I wouldn't know, all my non-ultimate 4th job attacks freeze). Would ranged classes still be able to keep it pinned to the wall without a freezer/stunner? If not, it would be great to promote getting classes with freeze and uninterruptible stun to help with bigfoot.

Uh. What teamwork at Anego? a nl or archer just pins it and its game over. They don't need anyone else. So I guess we just have to wait and see what nexon really had intended when they fix the glitch.

hmm, if they fix BigFoot this means I won't be able to Snailify it anymore T T. I loved the fact that I was able to doom this evil boss to avoid getting killed by it. It was also very amusing during the first day as the "priest ignorant" ppl would try and kill a snail only to get overwhelmed by it as it morphed back into BF xD. Goodtimes...

It was said earlier but deputy stars should not go up in price as there will be less ksing and more people will be able to finish the quest to get their stars. Also bigfoot really isn't that hard to kill and IMO is even easier to kill than pianus and pap plus gives more exp so why would people not hunt it? (besides the dmg it does but you can easily pin it)

Glitches are unplanned interaction of code. Imagine if jump down being present in the data made it impossible to jump off of a rope while pressing down (rofl)-- that would be a glitch. This is a mere mistake of forgetting to set a certain variable in the monster's data.


Just a patch, right? Speculation is that the "Server Maintenance" are done in preparation for a patch, and we did just have one, right? I'd say a patch to fix the issue will be coming, at the very least, before when the next content patch was planned to be released.

They could realize that it isn't a boss when they saw the regular hp bar when they tested it.
And they can't do anything against people that "abusing" it
what the players can do? ignore the boss and not to kill it? lol

hehe i've seen a few NL die that way, they come in and start attacking the snail that im pretty sure they know is bigfoot, then it turns back into bf then runs into em. hes so fast D: he must really want that lollypop

Let's hope, when they fix it, they fix whatever the dumb that is that makes my attacks go through it most of the time x_x

So in other words, if noone had reported this, Nexon would never have known, let alone, fixed this... go go Nexon :')....

Free tip for Nexon: Hire at least 1 game-tester who know how this game works to check for bugs / glitch abuse before you release new untested content...

Should be a boss. How else would they have expected it to kill 1xx paladins (if it's meant to be stunable) when nexon had it in testing

Also, anyone who has stunned Bigfoot would fall under the list of glitch abusers since that is a glitch too.

I know... I had hawk summoned to stun the stuff behind me and noticed it was stunning bigfoot too. I was thinking... that's not good... it shouldnt do that.

Fortunately that one dropped a toe for me so I'm done with bigfoots.
