1hko Skeles with Genesis

Sup SP. I'm a level 125 LUKless Bishop (my first 4th jobber, woo!) and I'm currently training at Skeles with my friends, so far I love the job.

Currently I have level 12 Genesis and level 4 Maple Warrior, with 2 unused skill points. In combination, this lets me 100% 2-hit KO Skeles for a 3200 MP Genesis. I find this pretty comfortable regarding pot usage.

My next goal should be 1 hit KO Skeles, right? that'd make my training faster and my pot cost lower since I wouldn't have to take the annoying magic attacks, just body touch damage from ones that spawn over me.

Unless I have some big luck streak, I don't have access to Genesis 30. So just 20 would be my max for now.

Sorry for all the context, here's the question, with my current 741 (total) INT / 873 Magic, at what level of Genesis would I be able to 1-hit KO Skeles? Is it even possible to do it at level 20 Genesis? The reason why I ask is because I already 2-hit KO them, and leveling Genesis any further would be counterproductive if I still 2-hit KO them but for a higher MP cost...

So, how many skill points should I save up before dumping them to my level 12 Genesis?

I'm not a Bishop expert or knowledgeable with them to any degree, but I THINK you shouldn't get Genesis any higher than you have it right now, since it would be more of a waste than a plus. I think with MAX Genesis, you need around 1,200 (I THINK that's what TKWizard told me) to one hit kill them. With a lower leveled Genesis, it'll probably take a lot more.

I 100% 1 hitted in the end of 15x with Genesis 20 with 1350 magic. You dont need 1400, arund 1350 is enough to 1 hit 100%.

To add on to that, only 1297 Magic is needed to 100% 1hit with Gen 30.

Thank you, that was exactly what I was looking for. So I guess I should forget about it until 15x? I hope I didn't overlevel my Genesis =X but at least now I can concentrate on Maple Warrior and have fun with things like Bahamut, after that I should start saving 8+ points for Genesis, right?

Well all I can say. U lvl very fast to 15x. Buuut 1350 Gene is not that easy to get. Atm u have 873 M.ATT +35 lvl x 5 Int = 1048 ( difference is still 300 M.ATT, so yea MW30 Can help a lot or some goodly gear, since 300 M.att is a lot, Equivalent to 60 LVLs.)

Most don't start 1hkoing with gen 30 until late 16x or even late 17x, so I wouldn't worry about it too much atm. Just make sure you have the magic.

My lv 146 Bishop (stripped, naked, etc), a scrolled Maple Shine Wand, along with Gen 20 can only 2HKO (takes off about 45-50% of a Skele's HP per hit). I have about 40 base LUK. So you can imagine that you'd wouldn't be 1HKOing until quite some time, I agree with what XTOTHEL said. I'm no Bishop pro though, I quit mine.

In the past days when i was 15x. it cost me roughly 10 bil to 1 hit with gene 20 f3 so yea but there was no belt or such good things like today even the +2 HTP was damn rare..

I see this same topic come up every so often it becomes almost spamlike. Someone should make a thread consisting of these 1hko numbers and sticky it so these topics stop spawning.
