Spam disorder.

As it stand, you have to squeeze every second you have to do damage to PB. Spamming disorder so you guys can take a break is counter to that. That is, if it even worked. Not to mention the amount of coordinate involved would make this plan fail...

If the time limit was more than an hour, there are plans that have a good chance of defeating PB.

Seeing as the windian squad was apparently dealing 3x the amount of damage needed to kill PB at the time of their ban way back when, i don't see why losing 1 shadower would cause them to lose that much damage. o.o

Doesn't it only work on a monster aggravated to yourself, like puppet? I know it works on bosses though.

Charge assassinate -> take KB -> spam disorder while making sure no one else takes KB -> ??? -> profit?

Would make barraging impossible though.

Yeah but PB is auto-aggressive, like most bosses. The instant you disorder, at best it'll just start targeting someone else.

Wouldn't disorder just keep de-aggroing it though? I didn't mean to imply that after disordering it once that it just wouldn't attack as long as it wasn't KBed again, but i don't think disorder de-aggros mobs as long as it's aggroed towards the disordering character.

I never said the person designated to Disorder PB would die, even though that is likely xD

And like Cyanne said, it's auto-aggro. Good luck getting this idea off the ground now, especially since PB's genesis attack sweeps the whole fking map at least three times over anyways.

Pink Bean automatically walks towards whomever's closest to it on the map, if it's not aggro'd to anyone by damage. I see great potential for fucking around with the bean if there was enough time. Have the person it's aggro'd to last die, then play some games with him. Tongue1

Not sure if this helps, but a Corsair's Hypnotize also de-aggros monsters.
Are there any other skills that de-aggro monsters/bosses?

Doesn't guarantee he will keep facing the wall. ;x

[COLOR="Red"]Sure, BUT, since Pink Bean still walks to the closest person when he's not aggressive, he'll just walk over to the squad and step on them. Either get blown away or you get to wait for a slow, impending doom.

Edit:

If the person who's last pissed a monster off leaves the map, the monster will become non-aggressive. Pink Bean would just happily hop towards whomever he feels like giving a hug to first.

What I meant was that PB will keep "orbitting" around your grave, allowing him to face left and right while casting Gen. Goggleemoticon

Meaning either clicking OK or using a Wheel to re-enter the map.

Disorder makes the monster lose aggro completely.

Hypnotize does the same thing, and is ranged.

I don't think it would work, though.

I don't get it. Neither of us mentioned anything about leaving the map?
Or does taking aggro to you and leave the map actually make sense? Because it would autoaggro to another randomer immediately.

Reading a hypnotize thread reminded me, however i specifically left out hypnotize for 3 reasons.

1) No corsair maxes it or is high enough to do so.
2) It's useless compared to disorder unless maxed. (see point 1)
3) Corsairs deal a lot of damage. Having them for such a purpose would be a waste, especially since a corsair can't survive having the aggro towards them as well as a shadower. (nor could they take aggro in the first place)

I understand/accept point 3, but to clear up point 1, Hypnotize doesn't have to be maxed or at a high level. The success rate is for the Hypnosis status. But it de-aggros with 100% success. At Lv1, even if it fails to Hypnotize a monster, it'll still be de-aggrod, just not Hypnotized.

Didn't know that. Interesting.

Does the (100%) de-aggro status of Hypnotize also work for bosses, since bosses can't be hypnotized?
