But x*y*-1 equals -xy, but if you distirubute, it, then it equals xy.

In (x*y*-1) there is no distribution taking place.

Think about it this way:

x^2 - x(x - y) = ???

Let's rearrange this.

-x(x - y) + x^2 = ???

-x^2 + xy + x^2 = ???

Simplify:

xy = ???

x = Poast

y = Chin

Poast * Chin = ???

which was the original question
