Is there a trick to killing Shadow Empress?

I've been trying to solo Shadow Empress on my Kaiser but I'm having problems with her healing. After I get to down to the 10% HP I can't seem to stop her from doing her heals. I've been told to do burst damage to her, but I'm already capping my Gigas on her and my Explosion can't take out that much. Is there some trick people have been using to solo, besides bringing a friend to crash/bind?

there literally is no other trick to it. Either bind her, or get lucky with her AI and do enough burst damage to kill her.

Either take out her last 10% before she heals, or take out all her life after she heals.

For the latter to work most classes need the following to happen
1) Delayed first heal: If you're lucky she will not heal till she's at 5% instead of healing right when you drop her to 10%
2) No abnormal status for over 30s
3) Delayed second heal: Her heal has a 30s cd. If you get lucky she might not recast it for 35s, and hopefully she will be dead by that time.

You gotta wait and pray for more luck and that's all.

Or wait till the damage cap got raised to 50m like KMS and MSEA to just giga it down, I'm sure this ain't gonna take long for GMS to get it.

I know what you mean, I always bring a binder to runs with me because she heals so randomly. Earlier today she lagged and died so i sat there for the next 28mins killing it

Is it only bind that stops heals? Or will crash work too? I assume so, but I'm just double checking.

didn't work for me on the only try i did.

In my experiences of 2 tries, magic crash does prevent heal of empress.
As it also prevent the healing of the boss in dimension invasion.

You need enough burst damage to kill it before she heals, OR you need a binder or some sort of assist to refrain her from killing
