Equip Enhancing
#1
After seeing these new godlies, it seems pretty clear that the highest you can safely enhance something is now 12 rather than 8. Looking at shielding wards, though, it still says it caps at 8 enhances. Could some explain to me how you get 12 enhances on something rather than the 8 on the shielding ward description?

Shielding Wards cannot be used on items that have been successfully enhanced to twelve or more stars. In the Legends update, the limit was increased from the previous eight.

The description is still wrong, but nexon did announce that it works upto 12 stars.

Does that mean if you get one of those fancy equip enhance scrolls that applies multiple enhances at a time that you can safely apply it when you're at 11 enhances for a cap of 16 enhances or something? Or is there some kind of fine print detail I'm missing there, too?

That I am not sure of.

no, the multi star enhances just make your item go to that amount of stars, so a 4-star enhance would make your items have 4 stars, no matter wether it had 3 stars or no stars.

Didn't a couple people just recently say it added that many stars to the item? :f6:

Good to know. I guess the fine print got the better of me after all. Thanks for the tip.

They didn't do a great job of updating descriptions, as far as I know this is the only one they did properly. Tradeable AEEs don't have the 11+ line.

Does that mean regular equip enhance scrolls can't even be used on things with more than 10 enhances?
