v160 - bugs
#21
In response to bug reports regarding Orchidroid's lack of Shop function, Artasi had this to say:

CM_Artasi Wrote:Hey guys,

It was determined prior to this that this version of the Orchiroid would, in fact, not have shop accessibility. As such, this IS working as intended and this is being labeled as not a bug.

Thanks for the reports!

Nexon, Nexon.... I'm sure the sales of Traveling Merchants in the Cash Shop are worth pissing everybody off with a misleading promise.

Mihile's Stance has no icon all of a sudden. I'll edit with a picture when the game's back up.

Lol way to make the orchidroid lose its functionality for next to no reason. What a silly decision. But power elixirs are easy enough to get thousands of per week anyway I suppose.

The reason I want the Orchidroid shop is not to buy potions (does anyone ever buy potion shop potions?), but to NPC junk collected in the field. It's only a few million meso per day, but it's something. Certainly doesn't justify buying the cash shop traveling merchant instead.
Oh well, Nexon will be Nexon, their petty greed always trips them up when they're trying to look generous.

I guess it's helpful if you don't have a hyper rock, yeah. It is pretty silly of them to take it out over something that probably makes them literally 10 dollars a day or something stupid like that. If even.

I do have a Hyper Rock but it doesn't help when my Equip inventory fills up halfway through a DI run, or while looting Krexel's drops. That's when my Orchidroid comes to my rescue.

But yeah, some of my mules have no such rock (I'd gladly buy them a perma one, but Nexon doesn't want to sell, oh well), and would have even more use for a shop droid.

You actually loot krexels drops?

I don't see why not - they're mostly Lv.110 Dragon equips so you can extract them for Superior Item Crystals, or sell them for ~50k mesos apiece to an NPC shop to profit like 1m

So after testing not only is Mihile's Stance missing it's Icon but it also has no animation despite still playing the sound and the animation upon getting hit. I do have a picture of the missing icons though.

Not sure if it's just me but if I try logging out and immediately type my password back in while the game is still loading back to the login screen, which would usually fill it in, it typically just causes the client to crash now.

Welp. After the patch, the summons were fixed and Kanna Blood procs now, but none of the other skills were touched. However, I think I've come up with a workaround in order to get Haku's Blessing to apply the % M. Att conversion, and possibly some more insight as to why the issue occurs.

First of all, casting Echo of Hero, or Call of the Wild both somehow force the range to be recalculated properly. Now, what's common about both of these buffs is that they both raise one's Weapon Attack. So I'd hazard a guess that receiving a buff that raises Weapon Attack will allow the Kanna's range to be calculated properly. I haven't been able to find other players to test whether simply receiving a buff that raises Weapon Attack fixes the range issue (or if it's just limited to those 2 skills), so if someone manages to do so, that'd be great.

I've tried consumables that also raise Weapon Attack (the Blessing of Guild potions, and Cookies), and they don't seem to have any effect.

Vanquisher's Charm still doesn't attack, and the demons in the Kishin Shoukan animation still face in the same direction (in the direction you were facing when you used the skill).

Apparently only buffs that give you some sort of %att/m.att work, been testing it with set # buffs and it doesn't work like aran's maha or lumi's magic attack buff.

I've seen a suggestion that unequipping your fan or Haku's, and re-equipping them, will also cause the Blessing the work. Haven't had a chance to try it, myself.

Already tried that multiple times and hasn't worked so far, only way to make it work so far is having a buff that gives you some sort of %atk.
