The aspect of it that struck me as cruel was how she set him up for the big fall, not the fact that she "stole" it. Heck, I'm sure a lot of us would consider taking the money from the gullible oaf regardless of whether or not we actually go through with it. It's not something I would have done (curse my sense of human decency), but easy come easy go.

Obviously it's always better to steal. No matter what the other person does you will always get the higher or equal payoff by stealing. I don't think I could bring myself to do it though, a cashier today gave me $20 extra change and I pointed out her mistake instead of taking it.
