This is very big news in the world of paleontology and changes some perceptions about different species of dinosaur laying eggs.

True, but in both instances it's almost unheard of.

It's actually not that surprising, this is just hardcore evidence to solidify the theory, not many if any marine reptiles of that era actually laid eggs. It was kind of under the assumption this one also didn't, until now

They did specify it was amphibious though? Am I correct? Anyhow, yes, it's very nice to see that they proved their theory correct.
