Cubing Locked Items
#1
Yay or Nay?
My sister is a bit paranoid about the hackings and wants to lock her bow, but she doesn't know if you can cube an item that has a lock on it.
Only thing I could find was mixed answers of "Yes" and "No".

I don't know why you wouldnt be able to, but I've never locked any of my items, so I dont know.
If she's really concerned, she could try a 7 day lock first, and see if she can cube with it on.

My bow's been locked ever since I scrolled it (which was last year) and I got it to 3 lines with a premium cube a few months ago, as well as used regular cubes on it before then. So yes.

You can cube them. You just can't scroll them (including potential scrolls).

Tim's Lab is the only way to add potential to a locked normal item. Once they have potential cubing works normally.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

scrolling you mean ANY scrolling, or just boomscrolls?

Any as far as I can tell.
My stupid little 100% potential I got for being 200, which not only has no chance of booming, has no chance of failing, period, won't work on locked equips.

I couldn't Vega 60% my locked shield, but regular scrolling with 60% and WS worked.
Either way obviously had no chance of booming it.

Oh yeah, when cubing, a confirmation pop-up comes up warning you (or at least it did for me) about possibly destroying your item when you use a cube on it. I forget if that was for reverse items in general (because mine was a reverse bow) or if it was because it was locked. Said pop-up is a complete lie, though.
