X-Men First Class (Also a request)

Exactly what I want from a summer movie. Wolverine cameo stole the show. Much more watchable than Wolverine's origin movie.

Is there anyone on Southperry familiar with the X-Men universe and good material from it other than the movies? Specifically, good comics to look into? I've read a fair amount of Deadpool but that's about it.

I just got home from seeing this movie. It was alright, but it was very cliche and gay (non-homosexual gay) at times.

you should just go to Marvel wiki and read up on all the lore and background info on all the characters you can imagine. It's pretty entertaining. for at least an hour

My expectations were met. Definitely qualifies as another one of those things that needed more time than it got.

The movie was absolutely amazing. I lold at the wolverine cameo. I'm fairly familiar with the xmen cartoon series of the 90's.

What the hell was with them killing off Darwin? It was even more stupid considering his entire damn mutation was built around not dying and adapting to survive. Good job enforcing the "black guy dies first" trope, guys. Also, Beast looked really ugly after he transformed. The CG/effects on him were terrible, they did a much better job on him in X3.

This is actually a great movie year for me. Ever since Thor came out there has been a new movie each week I want/wanted to see. On Friday I'm going to see Super 8. After that, The Green Lanturn, after that, Cars 2, after that, Transformers DOTM.

i really enjoyed it until... when banshee and fairy flew, itwas so bad i couldnt believe it they could have and should have made it so much better. But nether less a good movie in the end.

Really great movie, but a few effects were... lacking. As previously mentioned, I had problems with Beast's face and Banshee/Angel flying. I LOVED the Wolverine cameo.
