Death is there. You know nothing about it, and will know nothing about it, even after you experience it. It's better that you live your life and just accept the fact that one day it will be over. Enjoy it while you can, and don't get stalled up on the future. Live for today.

How do you know you'll know nothing about it even after you experience it?

I wanted to mention that I was depressed when I wrote the previous post in this thread. I still meant every word of it... but I just got a little too preachy at the end.

You shouldn't have removed the end. They were all very good points.

I'm enamored by your compliment, but I felt that I was getting a little too off-topic. I felt guilty that I was honestly trying to fit as many aspects of my life into that one post. If you want a quick recap it was: marriage, paganity, appearance, and affirmative action. I haven't really had a thread to really let my opinions out and I think that I just pushed out all my pessimism here. Thank you though! I'm not ashamed about my points, I'm ashamed that I didn't present them in a more respectable manner. Everything has a time and place.

Oh, don't worry, I already have copy/pasted your post. I liked it a lot since I already felt the same way, pretty much.

Looking back, I think I was morally depraved since childhood. I saw the movie Jurassic Park and was so scared about dying. Then two days later I thought about building this body swapping machine like in the "Help I'm in My ____'s Body" that would switch my mind with a younger person. I figured that I would kill the other person in my old body by promising I would help them, blindfolding them, and then pushing them off a cliff. I was five years old...
Yes. I feel bad about thinking that. And no. I don't have any thoughts like that anymore.

While you removed this part from your post and it really has nothing to do with the topic at hand I just wanted to note the stuff you said about finding someone you love and then working all the time and never seeing them is when both people believe in that American dream bull that you need a nice big house with all the works that costs 500k and you have to pay off for the rest of your life, and that you new two brand new cars that cost 30k each and you have to pay 1k a month for them, and you need 5 credit cards so you can buy all new fancy things you totally don't need but you want and you end up working 3 jobs because you stupidly dig yourself into a huge hole. That stuff only happens when you're a complete idiot like that.
In reality you can live much easier if you haven't been brainwashed by the American dream. While you could easily buy a plot of land and build your own house (building a house isn't easy, but it's not like you need to live in a house all the time. You could easily live in a trailer and while you build your dream home if you aren't a lazy pineapple), you can easily buy an older car and fix it up for a lot cheaper, and you can easily save up money for all the nice things you want instead of running yourself into debit by using credit cards all while doing a job your like when you like.
But, anyway, sorry. This is totally off-topic and is more a rant of mine that should go in the AD.

I don't have time to think about death when there's still so much I want to do while I'm alive.

You don't have to cope with it. Just give it some time; those thoughts will eventually fade into the background when you get distracted by more immediate concerns. If you think about it, your inevitable demise is actually somebody else's problem.

I don't think about, most of shouldn't, were too far way from it.
I'm not afraid of dying, because it will happen. I'm afraid of what is after it.
Let this thread not entice my head into such thoughts again. (Go does something else)

Didn't really think about it, I just think it'll be like going to sleep after grinding for a really hard test. Unless you die horribly, or something like that.
