Dude, stop being so stubborn. Neither Spidey, Ray, you or I can prove what the canon game is. But, according to most standards and the plausible proof we have, Gold is the canon one. It's VERY probably that, if the manga chose Gold as the main, and Pokemon's creator says he likes the manga, probably Gold is the protagonist too, thus the canon game.
