lol, pistol whip~

Ever since I started playing my pirate my brother comes up to me while I'm training and asks "Can you pistol whip people with your gun?" At first I thought it was just dumb, but then again it would actually be kinda' cool to have somewhat of a passive skill to increase the damage done by melee with a gun by a bit, or a KB lesser than archers. But then again wouldn't that mess up some balance between slingers and bowmens? :f6: Don't take me too seriously, its just a thought

I actually wouldn't mind this at all. Maybe a sweet animation or something that doesn't increase it by much. But then again, with such close range skills, and ones that can get you out of tight circumstances, I'd say we're pretty fine. You could always recoil away from your problems, which doesn't work real well in real life...

Cool idea, but it would pretty much have zero impact on the game. Corsairs have a large arsenal of skills that have no minimum range. I never whack things with my gun if I can help it.

We don't need knock back really, we knock back ourselves with recoil, or just freeze the monster so they don't get that close to us.
I rarely/never get that close to a monster.
