That really isn't censorship like SOPA, where as this is more like 24/7 monitoring. You'll be allowed to go where ever you want, they just can see you at all times. Not that it's any better, it's just not a hidden SOPA.

Fact is, even some of the politicians were able to see that that bill was a load of bullshit. It has nothing to do with the bill's title whatsoever, and many even said so outright.

Well thats good, Bills should be forbidden to have such instigating names like that because it will just create prejudice with the rest of the people that read the title, specially the ordinary people that dont get a chance or simply doesnt bother to read the content of the bill.

This. They should make the bill title clear enough that people who don't read it know what the bill is doing in the broad spectrum.
Obviously PIPA isnt just stepping in to child pornography. It's doing a lot more, and that should be made more clear.
No idea how they would do that though.

It's a deliberate choice. Politics is a lot about how you're able to market yourself towards a public. These laws are the same. If the title is catchy and well meaning, it gets support. People don't read those bills, they get someone else to read and summarize it for them. Only the REALLY good politicians are able to read for themselves.
