Huge pimple: Help

I've been having this HUGE pimple on my nose for almost 2 months already. It's about the size of a navel or a big mole. I'm afraid it'll become a mole in time to come or something. I've tried many things, in fact, it ruptured a couple weeks back and lots of pus and blood came out. I thought it was over, but right now it's back to pre-rupture size and I have no idea what to do.

Any suggestions? I'm willing to see a skin specialist or something, but my mom doesn't really agree.

By the sound of it, I don't think this is a pimple. It may be a Cyst (which also leaks pus). I would go to the doctor and get it checked out. If it's as big as you say, then they will lace it.

You can also lance it yourself. Just use a needle.

Make sure to at least warm the needle with fire before that, I know a guy who did it with a normal needle and it became 3x as big.

That or use a sharp enough needle. Regular needles aren't that sharp, but if you are lucky, you might find one that is

What's lacing? I'm thinking of seeing a doctor in a few days time, but thanks for the suggestions.

Lancing is spearing the abscess with a sterile needle and going through it and coming out on the other side, draining the fluid.

Its most likely a cyst or an ingrown hair (yes there are some bigger hairs on the nose area). Check with your doctor on how to deal with it properly.

I had an ingrown hair on my right shoulder for a few years. After seeing the doctor, I said pineapple it, and was trying to take a dull pocket knife to it. Since it was dull, it only left a small scratch right across it (it was about the size a normal pencil eraser, and raised almost as much as one as well). About 3 days later, the scratch was stretched, and you could actually see white around where the scratch was. Eventually after messing with it, the skin broke and out came a powdery puss-like substance, which equaled to about the mass of an eraser. Currently, after ~3 years since then, there is a small divot with one hair growing out of it (the puss substance did indeed contain a hair about an inch long within it)

That's a lot like what happened to my brother, but his ingrown hair was on the right side of his chin. He noticed that his face got really smelly when he leaned on his right side, and it lasted for around a year. He started thinking he had a tumor or something and asked my dad about it since he's a doctor. My dad didn't even say anything, instead he just reached up and poped it for him!! XD
