Big Foot Glitch Consequence

Meh, I got my ticket back from Nexon.

From what I can tell, Nexon is telling us "If you party with a Bishop / Arch Mage, you will be banned".

I really don't understand why they are banning us for so called "Power Leveling". If I don't party someone I get <6% an hour if I don't talk. Therefore, if I can party someone at Blue Wyverns (Mage / Arch Mage), and get maybe 15% / hr, then how am I power leveling? I'm still attacking, killing, and moving.

I explained my case, denied, and I guess I'll just have to wait it out. I really feel these "Power Leveling" bans are horrible, because I barely got upwards 30% / hr with 2x. I was just online for all my free time to level. I really don't think Nexon read my case and actually checked, but like I said, I guess I'll just have to wait it out and hope nothing permanant comes from this (Ranking Block).

Looks like they want every person in the top 1000 to be a Bishop or ArchMage now.

The one thing I'm angry with Nexon isn't the fact that it's banning the wrong folks, but the fact that it's banning at all.

According to nexon, "abusing the bigfoot glitch" is the cause for banning. But that's such a broad term. The problem is that, the fact that bigfoot is abusable stems from the fact that it isn't classifeid as a "boss", and there are PLENTY of ways to "abuse" that. For example, today I killed a bigfoot - I used my eagle to keep it stunned and whenever my eagle unstuns and bigfoot gets close, I DB it out of range again. None of those actions would've been possible if bigfoot isn't "glitched", or classified as a boss. Should I be banned then? Probably not, given how Nexon nerfed Bigfoot's exp rate rather than releasing a patch to make it a boss again, which combined with the things NXProse said about bigfoot gives us the impression that Bigfoot is meant to be able to be killed that way, and the "40 seconds = 2.5m exp" is just an unfortunate side-effect

Furthermore, BECAUSE it was most likely a side effect, there was nothing that warned us about this being a bannable offense, other than the "common sense" of the fact that 2.5m exp within 40 seconds is just broken. Common sense is important, but I don't think it's grounds enough for banning.

In my opinion, they shouldn't have banned at all, but instead just fix the situation as soon as possible. Banning is most likely just a way to appease angry Yellondians, which is a questionable motive.

Still till 25th of september. On my 3rd ticket now... I'm guessing I'll be perma'd soon for "abuse of the ticketing system". What lulz.

If anyone was wondering, you don't get ranked blocked. I was banned for like 5 days and I'm still on the ranks. I guess the only consequence is not being able to give them money for a name/world change. Darn... ._.

it really looks like Nexon had a raffle and decided to pull out some names to make it look like they were actually resolving a problem..The only thing they really accomplished was to piss off ALOT of players. Not only do they ban ppl who level alot who actually put in some hard work, they have a lame autoban program that doesnt work worth crap. And forget them actually caring to do anything useful. Give us a break Nexon....they'd never have to answer another ticket if they actually fixed the root of the problem..::cough cough programming cough::
