Pangya downloaded by itself
#1
Okay what, I just noticed, I never ever wanted to download PangYa, but suddenly it is there, laying on my desktop.

I wonder, is this caused by a virus or a spyware?

It was probably one of those optional downloads that come with software, such as toolbars, and you might have forgotten to untick it or something.

I'm pretty positive it wasn't, I don't use toolbars.

Plus, a 800MB download doesn't come often with toolbars or so.

I find it hard to believe a spyware would download Pangya. Check the date the file was created on, might give you a hint or something.

May have been a sibling, if that's even a possibility. Other than that, I'm clueless.

Pangya uses a downloader which runs in the background to get the initial setup file through a torrent. Someone else must have run the downloader on your PC.

I realized that. What makes me wonder is that another computer in the same network had the same problem.

This is weird, and the internet has no clues on this, unless I really suck at searching.
