It's actually not that bad. The last time my mom made it, she brought home an alive duck and slit it's throat and made blood-pudding out of it. I was like 9, and I just sat right next to the duck and watched. The slitting is a bit ..cruel, but.. meh. We eat cows, chickens, and etc all the time anyways, what-evs. That sh`'t didn't give me any stomach problems either, went pretty well with a glass of wine or two. It was pretty eccentric for my tastes, but to say that I dislike it would be bullsh`it. I enjoyed it.

Oh, found a video of how it's made. Warning, it's pretty.. graphic.
If you don't like to see animals being slit, do not watch.

Duck is fucking disgusting. It's more oil than meat.

Ugh, blood pudding. I remember we had that a few times when I was in the Philippines in this past summer. =/

It's not so much the "EWWW, IT'S MADE OF BLOOD!" factor (I actually like bloody foods, and used to eat blood ice cubes when I was younger....oddly enough. Not sure why my family kept those anyway), but I just don't think it'd be too nice of a mix.

Why would you have blood ice cubes? Ive been to Asian food markets, i know they sell frozen blood, thats fine you can make..food out of it or something. but just plain old blood ice cubes?
I'd like to say i did something like that, but i usually just stuck to kool-aid ice cubes...with sticks in them.
My family called them popsicles.

Yeah, we do that with juice. In fact, the first time I had a blood cube, I thought it was frozen fruit punch that my parents put in the freezer. When I tasted it, I obviously knew it wasn't, but I was okay with the taste anyway.
I'm not sure why my family kept blood ice cubes in the freezer. Never seemed too strange to me, but I can't really think of why. I wouldn't be surprised if I ate those with the food they gave me without realizing it (melting the blood while cooking the food for flavor?)
I don't know how to cook anything that isn't basic because I was too lazy to learn, so your guess is as good as mine. If it's really bothering you, I guess I could ask someone in my family about it.
Khoi, does your family use frozen blood?

No. They don't buy any frozen blood or attempt to freeze any type of blood. It's weird. But uh, they do eat stuff like:
-Cow tongue, cheeks, tails... etc
-Intestines
-Tripes (these are f`cking delicious with some Bo Kho. This.)
-Black chicken ( Here) to make some Black Chicken Soup ( here), and I hope you know what this is since you're Asian.
-ETC
They do buy blood-pudding pretty often too. I actually love going to the Strip District, since the food is always fresh. Some of my American friends goes up to the Strip District at times too, and I try to go with them.

That description didn't help me, because I don't know if that tripe is raw or cooked, I assumed cooked, but I can be wrong. When I eat tripes, it's cooked sh`t that goes onto other stuff
