"Sound" doesn't work

I don't mean sound, as in BGM in Maple and such. I mean the sound effects, like jumping and skills, not working. I've restarted Maple, restarted my computer, and it happened before and after the patch. I just never noticed because I usually play with the sound off. Help?

You didn't say anything about this...

Did you check the System Options in MS and made sure the sfx weren't turned all the way down?

Sometime that happens to me in CA. Not sure it's the same, but I can hear moving, but not my gunshots or the announcements. That is temporary for me, though.
