Predicting the economy (stars)? - Kawasari Mimoto - 2009-01-13

With the massive amount of hackers these days at Wolf Spiders, etc, Ilbies are deflating more and more each day. Prices in Scania, C-ilbies are 80m, Furies can range from 75-85. So assuming that Nexon does anything about Balanced Furies (making them rechargable at other places besides NLC..), will Furies even go up much? Or will the mass-hacking deflate them even more, and then fixing the glitch only brings it back up to 80m-ish again?

As for C-ilbies, when Furies does get fixed, will C-ilbies drop even more? What's everyone's opinions on this?

C-Ilbies cost real money and various other expensive in-game items to forge, so I don't think those will drop. And if Furies are going to be rechargable everywhere, then I think they will go up in price. But since that's not the case yet and because Furies have a high chance of never being rechargable anywhere but in NLC, I think that furies will only deflate over time.

No, furies will go up. Way up above the clouds considering people only had a short period of time gathering up the items from the gachapon box event to make them. Now it's almost impossible to find the Tao's in order to make another set therefore pushing the price up to it's maximum limit.

Some taos still come from badge trade-ins, and dont they come from NLC gacha now too? I recall hearing they did...

Anyway people still arent enthusiastic about furies since they only recharge in NLC, for that to be worthwhile we'd have to have some sort of...high level content right near NLC *cough*

Nexon has already stated that furies only being rechargeable in NLC isnt a mistake, they want it that way.

That's why i said it's almost impossible to find them since there is a very slight chance in retrieving one from the trade-ins.

NLC gachapon? Never heard of that.

I remember a GM stating that too, but they'll have to change it eventually, otherwise, Furies would be pretty much obsolete. <_< . . .

Furies are ultimate power, but you can't use them without making sacrifices somewhere else. But honestly, lots of people (including hermits) train in CWK and WS, so why make such a big fuss out of it? The fact that your Furies can only be recharged at NLC is only a problem when you train in Ludi or something.

Not so, like I was saying NLC has a lot of expansions coming to it, if we get new high end maps and bosses better than that of Leafre, and Masteria becomes the new endgame area, they will be a viable option.

Assuming the rest of the market doesn't change, then the relative value of furies/cilbis will increase if:
- They become rechargeable everywhere
- CWK becomes a good training-spot

Otherwise, I'd see furies stay at the same price/increase, and cilbis lower.
