Recently we have been enacting some tougher punishments for the purchasing of gold from gold sellers. I wanted to take a moment to let you know what we have been doing and how it may affect you.
1) If you have been caught buying gold recently we are now removing ALL of the gold on all of your characters on that account. It's as simple as that. We want to make sure that you realize that it's just not worth it. You will be out the money you paid as well as any other gold on your account.
2) You will be suspended, and possibly permanently depending on the severity of the purchase and other factors.
We often get excuses from players saying things like "Oh well it was my friend who sent me the gold" or "They bought an item from me". The thing is that there is no ambiguity when you purchase gold from gold sellers. We know for certain when we take action that you have purchased gold from a gold seller so excuses amount to nothing.
You should remember that each time you buy gold you are telling them that they have a market in NA and they should continue to bot and cheat their way to the gold that they sell to you. Much of the gold they resell to players comes from other unfortunate players who fell victim to scams or phishing websites.
Don't buy gold or Tekonos will come after you with the fury of ten thousand suns.

Some other players also like to purchase gold and then put it directly into the guild storage to transfer it to your other characters. I suppose they think that this way it will be hard to track.
Two things.
1) We can see you doing this
2) Repeated infractions may result in the dismissal of your guild
We hope this will cause guild leaders to be more cautious with allowing this to happen in their guilds.

And we have a 0 backlog on tickets. You pretty much get your ticket answered within a few hours or a day tops unless it's the weekend or it's a billing issue.
Imagine MapleStory with this type of GM presence.

And I don't think DN population is that bad, it's just in a slump because 60 cap is on wednesday so there is very little motivation to do anything until then. Same thing happened at end of 40 cap then population exploded for first few months of 50.

Selling NX cards can get you banned? Never knew. Not particularly against it technically speaking, either. (Your money, your card, do what you want with it: Sell it, keep it, use it, blend it, whatever). I've never sold any, but hold nothing against those who do.

It's against the Terms of Service, hence why it's bannable. Nexon really needs to follow this through with Maple.

But of course. I understand that much, but I still have a hard time condemning others who want to sell their rightfully purchased belongings, NX or otherwise. Meso selling is a different situation IMO, as the mesos were obtained through illegitimate means VS the NX which was purchased with someone else's real money that did indeed contribute to the system. It is the same NX, and it has been paid for, its simply being used by someone else.

actually, i went and checked the nexon ToS, and couldn't find anything regarding the sell of NX cards for meso, best i found is this:
