In the Korean version, for the Resistance Revamp, you received a coupon that gave you another character slot with which you could automatically make a level 30 Resistance character. You could delete the Resistance character afterwards and still keep the slot.
If Nexon doesn't do anything differently regarding character slots, you won't be able to expand beyond 15 slots until Tempest, when you'll be able to have 18 total slots. After the release of each new class in Tempest, NexonKR held hot time events that gave away the character slot coupons, along with the special class hat, but judging from the previous class releases we have had, I would say it is likely that we'll just get Character Slot Expansions from the little giftbox that shows up to the side of the screen when the class is released.
