7-11 event? - Will - 2008-11-05 Hi everyone, I went to 7-11 today to buy a slurpee for the event and i got the regular 22 oz (blue cup thing) and so i bought it but i can't seem to find a code I told the guy about the event and he looked at me like I was dumb and ended up giving me some nexon disk to download the 4 games and it doesnt even work<_< But I was wondering if it is even POSSIBLE to find a code on the 22 oz. cups? please and thank you ![]() EDIT: I'm pretty sure the 7-11 HOSTED the event because on top of the slurpee machine they had the nexon thing with the pictures of their games (along with a pirate picture for maple )
7-11 event? - Corn - 2008-11-05 Lol I heard someone with the same situation in the 7/11 thread. This is funny hearing people embarass themselves at 7/11. Perhaps only certain 7/11s have them? I'm not sure. 7-11 event? - IsaacGS - 2008-11-05 Eh, first day of the event, they might not have shipped it everywhere yet. 7-11 event? - Will - 2008-11-05 D: That is a possibility x.X I guess I'll try again on the weekends 7-11 event? - FelixTM - 2008-11-05 Nah. This is all an elaborate ruse by Nexon to give them some lulz. They just want to try and make people feel like idiots by asking the clerks about something that doesn't exist. Or, in their envisioned best-case scenario... "Yo, where's the code on my slurpee!?" "...Code? Kid, you're watching too much TV." "But Nexon said there'd be codes on my slurpees!" "..." "I WANT MY CODE!" "I'm calling the police." 7-11 event? - Kaasoljoyyx - 2008-11-05 What isaac said is most likely. My younger brother went there and told me the same story. He didn't ask them about it though when he couldn't figure what was going on. 7-11 event? - Potora - 2008-11-05 Lol I like Felix's theory. Too bad I've never seen a 7-11 around in these parts.
7-11 event? - Keone - 2008-11-06 Or Nexon is just cruel enough to make you buy Slurpees in winter. ENJOY YOUR 2X WHILE DYING OF PNEUMONIA JAJAJAJAJA 7-11 event? - Worthyness - 2008-11-06 But i like slurpees in the winter D= and ice cream too. It like amplifies the chill factor and makes me happy =P Not enough time to go to 7/11 tho =( 7-11 event? - iamflip - 2008-11-06 Hmm... I wonder... The code on 7-11's slurpees gives you earns you a 90 minute 2x EXP card. However... how much is slurpees compared to a single day 3-hour 2x EXP card? 7-11 event? - dpeterlin - 2008-11-06 iamflip Wrote:Hmm... I wonder... 4 hour 2x card --- 2 bucks slurpee -- like 1.19 -- 2x wise better deal to buy the 2x if you can play all 4 hours if you want a slurpee though -- free 2x -- cant beat that 7-11 event? - DrRusty - 2008-11-06 iamflip Wrote:Hmm... I wonder... the 4 hour 2x exp card doesn't come with a slurpee lol
7-11 event? - Cheez - 2008-11-06 people that think the regular 2x is worth more are forgetting the fact this 90 minute 2x is FREE because you are BUYING SOMETHING which has ALWAYS been available, but now GETTING SOMETHING WITH IT. 7-11 event? - Kaasoljoyyx - 2008-11-06 Also you can get it from friends who don't play MS. Plus the rate isn't that bad compared as the average amount of NX per time interval on a x2 card is always lower if you get a longer card i.e. a 30 day card may be worth 19.5k [or w/e] but it costs less on the average than a 10 day card which is 8.5k [or w/e] Since this card is less time than the 2k 4 hr card, proportionating would mean it's roughly 80cents~$1.00. Last I checked slurpees start as low as 89 cents or $1.09. Forget if they do tax but yea, people buy these all the time so you get a bonus out of it. Not everything you buy has to be just for MS, there are other purposes for it. 7-11 event? - Hiepocrite - 2008-11-06 . 7-11 event? - iamflip - 2008-11-06 @ Hiep, assuming that the codes are on the cup somewhere, if you were gonna steal the cups, probably. (No, I do not recommend doing so lol)@ Kaasoljoyyx, good point @ having friends buy you slurpies. It can only work for so long though @ the notice mentioned of a 7 card limit per account. 7-11 event? - Kaasoljoyyx - 2008-11-06 I believe limit is 5 but you can sell codes to people who live in places without 7-11s. 7-11 event? - Judgment - 2008-11-06 Cheez Wrote:people that think the regular 2x is worth more are forgetting the fact this 90 minute 2x is FREE because you are BUYING SOMETHING which has ALWAYS been available, but now GETTING SOMETHING WITH IT. There's also the advantage with the slurpee 2x being a shorter time, which is convenient for those who don't want/can't spend 4 hours with a regular 2x card. ![]() Perhaps Nexon may learn from this and offer 2x EXP and 2x Drop in smaller increments?
7-11 event? - Kawasari Mimoto - 2008-11-06 Nexon just finds more methods to scam more kids off of their money, eh? 7-11 event? - Shippo the Fox - 2008-11-06 Kasuhitomi Wrote:Nexon just finds more methods to scam more kids off of their money, eh? Last time I checked, we're getting the slurpees. Therefore, we're scamming them! Hah! |
