Running 2 instances of maplestory at once - heronz - 2011-11-09 what is the best way to do it? i heard if you have win7, you can switch user and run another MS from that user accnt. but that didnt work for me. i plan on transfering things between accnts. thanks Running 2 instances of maplestory at once - FenixR - 2011-11-09 Its with windows XP iirc not with windows 7 Running 2 instances of maplestory at once - SaptaZapta - 2011-11-09 It's been blocked for a long time now. As far as I know there is no legitimate way to run two maples on one computer anymore. Nexon (or HackShield) even blocked the various "virtual machine" tools. "So how do I transfer stuff between accounts, now that Duey's gone?" you ask? "You're not supposed to have more than one account anyway," say Nexon. Running 2 instances of maplestory at once - Green4Ever - 2011-11-09 VMware still works fine for me, it's just a little laggy. Let me rephrase that. It freezes, disconnects without warning, locks up in laggy areas (towns, training areas, etc), unless you can give it like 3gb+ of memory, then it should be fine. I gave mine 2gb and it's not very stable. I'm able to use it to afk a char as a mule in a low-populated area, but not able to use it to provide buffs or travel around areas without massive lag and/or disconnects. Running 2 instances of maplestory at once - Locked - 2011-11-09 Don't do VMWare if you have no idea what the hell you're doing. You need to know a lot about your machine, and a lot of technical shenanigans to not screw up your PC trying to set it up everytime. Running 2 instances of maplestory at once - donovan - 2011-11-09 It's not that complex, my university hosted a seminar where they taught a bunch of first year students to do it in less than 2 hours, these were Computer Science Majors, but still. Running 2 instances of maplestory at once - Worthyness - 2011-11-09 in college I have a netbook and a desktop, so i just use both if i need to transfer stuff or HS myself. Netbook lags like crap, but it's better than not having it at all. You could just buy a cheap laptop for like $300-400, could come in handy for things outside maple too, like school. I did this. I also use the laptop for work, and for logging data in my car. It has definitely come in handy for more than just maple.
