The Amazing Spiderman - Netto - 2011-07-21 So, we all knew there would be a new Spider-Man movie. But...I didn't expect it to play out quite like this. Yay new Spider-Man movie...but why does it have to be a remake of the first?? The Amazing Spiderman - FelixTM - 2011-07-21 It's called a reboot. The Amazing Spiderman - Eos - 2011-07-21 It's been advertised as a reboot since day 1. They want to 'start over' and 'do it right' and all that other crap ala batman, the hulk, every other reboot of the last ten years. The Amazing Spiderman - Kevin645 - 2011-07-21 The other actor Tobi didn't want to do it again . Tobi was a much more realistic actor for the role of spiderman. This guy just looks like edward cullen. I found Spiderman 1&2 to be really well done and by far my favorite superhero movies along with the Batman movie from 1999They are also doing a reboot because of the avengers i believe? Spider-Women needs to be produced. The Amazing Spiderman - Netto - 2011-07-21 Ah, so that's what it's called. I knew about the new actor and everything already and had already accepted it. But as soon as I saw the guy in action, I cringed >_> I'm still upset that Toby didn't want to do it anymore. Not sure how this movie will do without him. The Amazing Spiderman - Malthe - 2011-07-21 Wow he looks like spider-man from spider-man unlimited. The Amazing Spiderman - MetaSeraphim - 2011-07-21 At least it is not a complete carbon copy. The Amazing Spiderman - Born2BeMild - 2011-07-21 1:40 and onwards, am I watching Mirror's Edge or Spider Man? The Amazing Spiderman - NoJobNoRules - 2011-07-22 Born2BeMild Wrote:1:40 and onwards, am I watching Mirror's Edge or Spider Man? Yea, the first person view seemed very animated. :/ The Amazing Spiderman - KhainiWest - 2011-07-22 Netto Wrote:Ah, so that's what it's called. Are you kidding? Toby made spiderman look like a blubbering platypus. I dont have much hope for this one either though The Amazing Spiderman - Nalek - 2011-07-23 1) Hope they dont use that same CGI pomegranate in the movie 2) Hope they got his web right in this one. The Amazing Spiderman - Kojo - 2011-07-24 The second half of the teaser looks more like a video game than a movie. And I'm glad they're not using Toby. If it's going to be a reboot might as well do over everything including main actors. The Amazing Spiderman - Mike - 2011-07-24 I really don't have high hopes for this. Hey, you never know... The Amazing Spiderman - ShinkuDragon - 2011-07-24 KhainiWest Wrote:Are you kidding? Toby made spiderman look like a blubbering platypus. I dont have much hope for this one either thoughthis, i never liked him, looked too much of a whimpy kid (not the spiderman kind) Nalek Wrote:1) Hope they dont use that same CGI pomegranate in the movie for god this, i nerdraged VERY hard when i saw the web in the first movie. The Amazing Spiderman - byakugan - 2011-07-24 Phss these movies didn't need a reboot. Spiderman 1 and 2 were great movies among the superhero movies. Kevin645 Wrote:This guy just looks like edward cullen This. Despite me thinking Tobi didin't make the best Spiderman, this guy doesn't look any better. The Amazing Spiderman - byakugan - 2011-07-24 ewww my bad. The Amazing Spiderman - Baklava - 2011-07-24 If the boy who cried wolf could cry 'milking the franchise', I think he'd cry it all over this movie. Of all the superhero movies that need to be reworked, Spider-man is probably one of the few that didn't need it at all. :U The Amazing Spiderman - Smooth Criminal - 2011-07-24 From IGN's coverage of The Amazing Spiderman panel at Comic-Con: Quote:Webb also gave us our first look at The Lizard, by way of a highlight reel of sorts illustrating the villain's origins. Basically Connors, as the world's leading expert in reptiles, is looking to genetic splicing as a means to grow back his missing arm. He uses himself as a test case, and the results lead to Connors growing back his arm, after shedding a very sticky, very gross layer of skin around the new limb. For some reason, this doesn't sound good. I'm also really put off by the fact that he sounds really angsty based on what's been said about the 9 minutes of scenes shown during Comic-Con. I think I'd even prefer him being wimpy than this. The Amazing Spiderman - Fiel - 2011-07-24 Why do they have to keep rebooting stuff? I don't want to pay money to see the same crap over and over again. Although it looks like they're darkening the movie again, just like they did with Batman. The Amazing Spiderman - Netto - 2011-07-24 Fiel Wrote:Why do they have to keep rebooting stuff? I don't want to pay money to see the same crap over and over again. This. I paid good money to see the film ONCE. Why make it again? And if they were to change the storyline of it, it would confuse me. That's why I'm always thinking: Make it once; Do it right. Some movies (Like the Last Airbender in my opinion) NEED a reboot. Things like Spiderman and Batman, not too much. And also, I hate it when all movies show that it's EASY to get a girl. Seriously? It's always the same thing. Superhero movies, romance movies, even cartoon movies sometimes. That's probably why I liked the 1st Spiderman movie. Peter had to WORK to get Jane to notice him (in a way) and even in the 2nd movie where he had problems he had to work out. THAT'S the effort I like to see. |
