Out of Frequency Range - Netto - 2011-02-09 It's frelcking annoying! ![]() I can't play Maple in full screen anymore without it going black. I've tried Googling a solution but they don't work. Do I need a video card update or would I need a new monitor? I believe it's about 7 years old now? The monitor is this:
Out of Frequency Range - Jon - 2011-02-09 I'd say get a new monitor ASAP. Out of Frequency Range - Netto - 2011-02-09 Oh pineapple my life -_- Just what I need....to be set back $200~$500....i think. Time to go online shopping. Out of Frequency Range - maplefreak26 - 2011-02-09 Even a cheap monitor will do, as long as it isn't bulky like the older monitors should work. Flat and thin are more modern and isn't so ugly looking since most of them are black and more sleek. (My opinion) EDIT: Just looked at the monitor again, it isn't fat. Get the wide monitors and hope your computer can support the resolution, or else you will have graphic issues. Out of Frequency Range - JoeTang - 2011-02-09 24" LCD shouldn't cost much more than $200. Out of Frequency Range - Jon - 2011-02-09 Monitors aren't THAT expensive, lol. http://www.newegg.com/Store/Category.aspx?Category=19&name=Monitors Out of Frequency Range - Netto - 2011-02-09 Jon Wrote:Monitors aren't THAT expensive, lol. Out of Frequency Range - Netto - 2011-02-10 Dammit, you get the idea though. ![]() I'm going to calculate it between what I have to spend now (may need to do some budgetting somewhere) and how much of it I can spend. Built-in speakers sound cool and all (along with higher resolution), but not sure if it's worth the extra $30~$40. They're hardly a point to consider as to what raises the price of a monitor. Not useful for anything except HDMI-Audio for your PS3 or 360 in my opinion. I remember doing this once and it did nothing, so I've been leaving it alone ever since. Out of Frequency Range - Jon - 2011-02-10 .. You should still get a new monitor. But, I tried checking when it was made and got some time in 2004. I think, personally, it's about 10 or 12 years old. I want to get a new monitor, but I believe that can wait until after I go on summer vacation. |
