I'm not so sure. They still have the original style minimap if you'd prefer that. That's the new default minimap.

Oh, and guess what! JMS kept the monsterbook!

Also, you can't enter portals if you have your Japanese IME on, and apparently Shanks will send people back to Maple Island if you have over 300 fame. This is according to Justin.

Another thing, you can't see it in Justin's SS, but they added a thing to login to your Facebook/Twitter in MS. It didn't work for me though. It could be that it tries to login to a Japanese version or something, idk.

The 300 fame thing has been there for a long time. Justin used to tell me about that when I first started playing 1 year ago.

Actually, i see the benefit of this new minimap look. Before it would display graphics of the whole (or part of a) map which in large maps completely cover damage on multi hit skills. This being transparent fixes that and still presents the main function of mini maps: Portal, NPC, terrain, ladders, and player locations.

God... this test server is so f'ucking terrible.

The channels keep crashing every single minute. You get on, turn in a quest, kill a monster or two and get ~50% EXP, then the channel crashes, you try logging in, then you find out you were rolled back back to the % you were previously. This just keeps happening OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

Nexon needs to upgrade the server or increase the server capacity or SOMETHING. This crap is absolutely terrible. Big Bang will definitely not be ready by the 24th if this crap keeps up.

Or they could have made it closed testing, so there wouldn't be much strain on the server itself.
