Another stats question - Imagine - 2010-10-22
Let's say I have a bunch of data points, have the slope of the linear reg equation, and have calculated the sum of all the x/y values. Is it better to plug in actual x/y values to solve for a, or is it better to plug in the mean of the sum of x/y instead?
