F`CK! Why am I always so curious? This ruined it for me. F*CK! - Khoi - 2010-04-27 I'm only on the 2nd disc of the game. I read everything on this website. I died on the inside. DIED. http://www.squallsdead.com/ . . . . . . . REALLY? EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE. IT'S A CONSPIRACY. ;~; Nooo... I'll still finish the game, just to get my own perspective on it, but I did notice that after the assault with Edea, things just stopped making sense. F`CK! Why am I always so curious? This ruined it for me. F*CK! - Daku - 2010-04-27 I read it too. it does make sense lol. Squall is dead. F`CK! Why am I always so curious? This ruined it for me. I doubt you'd play it anyway. lol. On-Tawpic: I hope it's bullshit, that kind of ruined my favorite Final Fantasy game... F`CK! Why am I always so curious? This ruined it for me. You don't know me soo please dont tell me what I would play or not. I guess your wrong on everything :I On topic: I believe that because that ice shard is not something you recover from easily. F`CK! When I'm stuck, I google walthrough outline and I keep going. By the way:

So technically, Squall can be resurrected if you think of it within the game's battle system. Yes, you can revive people. Who is to say that Squall did not die, but got revived? This can make sense too. Though more unlikely. #2: Before he died, he had dreams a couple seconds before that. The end of the game signifies that he really perhaps did die. Either way, I think this was done intentionally to make the players think a bit more. Also, FF7 are for fanboys. Lol... F`CK! Why am I always so curious? This ruined it for me. F*CK! - Yotsuba - 2010-04-27 I've never thought that deeply into it, but reading that does seem to make sense. I might re-play through sometime with this in mind. Omni Wrote:Hold on. Either way, both makes sense: People die when they are killed. "Dying" and using Phoenix Down isn't the same as dying from the plot. You can think of it as being knocked out for the time being. By your line of reasoning, every death scene in the Final Fantasy series means nothing. "LOL I DON'T CARE SEPHEROTH, I'LL JUST USE PHOENIX DOWN <3!" F`CK! Why am I always so curious? No. If resurrection and cure worked that way Aerith would still be alive. I assume when they say ''revive'' its because they're incapacitated or Knocked out. They're not dead or else most of the character deaths would be minor since they could just use heal or Arise and act like nothing happened. NINJA'D BY A SPIDER. F`CK! Why am I always so curious? Knocked-out =/= dying, and you did made a point. True, in battles, they don't actually die, it's KO'd. My bad. Still . . . Hmm.. F`CK! Why am I always so curious? This ruined it for me. I think I'm gonna find out soon when I get further into the story, at the 2nd disc, it just seems to make more sense to me this way. Also, that ending.. was pretty well done, considering that it's a PS1 game. I enjoyed Legend of Dragoon, and even LoD's ending wasn't nearly as good in terms on quality as FF8's. WOW. F`CK! A smooth ice shard to the shoulder wouldn't be that hard to fix. It'd start melting immediately, so there's no problems getting it out, and it looked way too high to hit a lung. Plus, these people have <magic>...a puncture wound would be fixed nicely by Curaga or something of the sort. F`CK! Why am I always so curious? This ruined it for me. I only went peachy on you because you dont know me and assumed I would not play an old game. And since a curaga can fix that Huge ice shard, why didn't anyone heal Aerith when she got stabbed in the stomach ? F`CK! F*CK! - TøbiasBlack - 2010-04-28 b'awww. aeris is dead, but she's alive in kingdom hearts. squall is dead, but he's alive in kingdom hearts. your continuity is broken by the multiverse. phoenix down works on the kinda sorta dead. they're defibrillators of the final fantasy world. Getting a giant shard of ice through your chest and falling to your death kinda means you die. getting run through with a sword, yeah... may i direct you to harikari? F`CK! Why am I always so curious? This ruined it for me. F*CK! - Sarah - 2010-04-28 I really hated Final Fantasy 8 because the plot was just such bullshit fluff but reading this actually made it a lot more enjoyable for me. Until now, the ending was just completely retarded nonsense that seemed to force itself into a happy one. Everything that happens, but specifically that orphanage bull, just seemed too convenient, like really sloppy fourth grader writing. I just replayed the game a year and a half ago (ish) and I remember thinking how dumb the whole thing was, and that beyond the graphical advances for its time, that it didn't deserve any of the acclaim it received. I'd say that, while you now know bits and pieces of what's going to happen, Khoi, you've probably made the game a whole lot better for yourself, and you should absolutely keep playing. Unless you like poorly written love stories, I guess. This way it's still romantic, but a whole heck of a lot more realistic. Thanks for linking this and making a shitty game a half decent one, even if it's not the truth I'm going to assume it is because at least then I can have fond memories of it. F`CK! F*CK! - Khoi - 2010-04-28 Yeah, I'll keep playing anyways. At lv 23, my Squall has about 7k-ish HP. So I can tank most bosses, and spam-summon since I'm doing it that way right now. My 2nd playthrough, I'll abuse the f*ck out of Limit Breaks though. |
