Infinity Ward Kick out of Call of Duty Franchise. - Berzerk - 2010-03-02

Okay, so it's official, Infinity Ward will not be developing "Call of Duty 8" like how the previous cycle was going for Call of Duty games. (Treyarch one year, Infinity Ward the next, giving each game a 2 year development cycle) .Last night, their offices were "stormed" by a bunch of guards from Activision and 2 head honchos were fired. Link.

Because of this, they were kicked out of the Franchise and Sledgehammer Games, which is one of Activision's Studios, will be developing "Call of Duty 8".

This is a pretty serious plot twist. Thoughts?

Oh, there are also plans to release the two announced map packs for Modern Warfare 2.

Then you'll be glad the chance of that happening just hit 0, ever.

You really think activision aren't the money grabbing side in the argument between them and the people they fired? lul
