I'm asking this again as I cannot get a definite, 100%, logical answer on this.

Question: Can you save earlier Evan skill points for later mastery skills?

Some opposing viewpoints.

HighOnMushrooms Wrote:Nope, SP is divided into masteries. When you level up, you get 3 SP for the mastery you're currently in. (3 SP for both masteries if you are at a level with a new mastery)

Yet....

JoeTang Wrote:As far as I know, Masteries 1&2 have interchangeable SP, as do 3&4, 5&6, 7&8, and 9&10. You cannot save SP from Mastery 1/2 and use it on Mastery 3/4 etc, but you can waste higher Mastery SP on lower Masteries.

This is evidenced by the fact that Evan SP Resets are divided into said five groups. If you can SP Reset points between 1&2 but not spend as such, it provides a retardedly large potential gap between NX and non-NX users. Unless these SP Resets are a blanket and only do apply to each specific mastery.

From a Real evan (that is me):
Evans Sp is like the sp from the begginer skills and the normal ones, it is completly divided, you cant save Sp points, as when you click the second mastery, you will only see points for that mastery lest say...
You have 10 sp in first mastery, then you elvel up to 20
You get 3 sp for first mastery and 3 for the new one, so lets say you click the first mastery buton:
you will see that you have 13 sp
Then you click your second mastery
You have 3 sp

Hope this helps Smile

Any word on higher level SP? 10th mastery has 120 SP but the skills only need 110 SP to max. What happens to the remaining 10 SP?

Evan SP - Corn - 2010-02-03

Then can you use the SP Reset to transfer SP from the first Mastery to the second Mastery?

Evan SP - Fiel - 2010-02-03

Going on other Evan player's descriptions, I think SP resets can only be reset into the mastery it's used in. The purpose of having resets for just IX and X is to reduce the number of SP Reset types that appear in the cash shop.

Evan SP - Corn - 2010-02-03

Kinda weird then, since they could have just made only 1 SP reset.

So does that also mean that SP from higher masteries can't be put in lower ones? Because that means some mastery skill build are set in stone then, and nobody gets more than level 10 Thunderbolt because... nobody don't max Magic guard.

Evan SP - Tay - 2010-03-03

From experience, no.
You have to use SP you get in a mastery on the specific mastery.
Though I'm not sure if you can raise earlier masteries with those same SP points.

Evan SP - Corn - 2010-03-03

Can't raise earlier masteries. Found out on ellinforest (or was it lolbasil?).

You max both.

Yeah, you can't raise earlier masteries from experience.

Pretty stiff skill builds then...

Shidoshi Wrote:Pretty stiff skill builds then...

Yeah, they are kind of stiff, and not that unique, however, after the 5th mastery, things become really itneresting

Evan SP - Corn - 2010-03-03

Wait a damn second. I thought this thread disappeared in that recent server rollback.

L> moving to evan section, too :3.

If they just made one kind of AP reset, then they couldn't charge more for higher level resets.

please dont necropost

And: It is safe to say that you get 7-10 extra sp in each mastery from the first to 5th one, since you get 30 points normaly, and I dont remember if you got 3 or 1 point at your job advancement, also the first five masteries have only 2 skills

Evan SP - maiiev - 2010-03-12

How am I necroposting? The last post before mine was only a week older? It was the fifth topic in the Evan sub-forum.

For God's sake there's only six non-stickied threads in this subforum, what exactly am I pushing down that's so important?
