Well, i think they should have some increase in monster cards cause it's reallly hard to get them ); probably why most people don't collect them.

Monster cards dropping from the monsters themselves especially at such a low rate never really made sense.... I mean, after killing thousands of the same thing and getting the card, all you get is the picture as if you really needed to see it some more, and by the time you find the 4th card, you've probably already gotten everything it drops.

I got 5 Oblivion Monk cards before finding anything except the black pirate hat (lv.100) I think the ToT cards drop more often or something.
#1 thing I don't like is minibosses. They should have drops like 1/10 of the time for cards. >_> Not 1/1000.

Yea, the mini-boss drop rate makes no sense. I was able to get a full set of papulatus and pianus within a couple of days, but I'm at my 100th Zombie Mushmom, and still no card.

Especially when we have that new +3 to all medal now they should increase monster card drop rate so everyone can get one. I really need that extra LUK point F4.

They're fine the way they are. If you can't get the cards through old-fashioned hard work then you don't deserve them. The same goes with medals.

I still haven't gotten the gatekeeper card. The only one I actually tried to hunt for. Spent 2 hours on 2x event, and got nothing. While the other day, headed to Zakum quests and got a Lycanthrope card.
A kill count would be nice. And say you hit the cap, your card count auto increases.

I am either extremely lucky or some mobs have their card drop at much higher rates, I have managed to get about 12 cards from Stump on the never server, while others havent even hit 5 when I have killed much more of them.

This. Not everything in game is supposed to be made super easy like some things have been recently (gach box events, maple crystal events, etc.). If you want a pretty monster book bad enough, you'll go spend the time hunting them, and if you dont want to hunt for them, then just settle with not having em.
Personally, Im proud of the cards I was able to hunt myself, though I get discouraged really easily. I dont go out of my way to spend hours hunting in places for cards, but I'd drop by and try an hour or so here and there. If they drop, cool. If not, oh well.
That being said, I'm proud of the 3 Old Fox and 1 Kimera cards that I was able to find through hunting mini-bosses over and over.

Nah! I'd be okay if they upped the drop rate. It wouldn't diminish my effort from when they were difficult, and it would only aide me in furthering my monster book mastery. Either way I still win.
That being said, Retalion's got it absolutely right. Monster card hunting should be a challenge. It's something that is virtually un-bastardized by lazy SoBs who just want everything handed to them.

I love the hard aspects of cardcollecting, but two things pisses me off, and that's the low drop rate on areabosses and botcatchers (god i treasure my Shade card), but above all, the damn cards that I can't get, a million curses on the themed dungeon idea.

they should make a custom illustration for all monster cards. just like what other mmo such as ragnarok online did. right now, i dont feel like collecting any card since i can get most of the info i need from hidden-street or forums.

, i have 15 cards with my lv 40 aran, so... if nexon raised the drop rate for cards, it would be like making the exp needed to lv up 50% lower

There's some cards that need a fix. Like Pepe King with the 3 Yetis. Considering its level is RESTRICTED TO 38-, IT'S RIDICULOUSLY STUPID.
Not to mention Mushroom castle itself...
