Windows 7 and MS - Manu - 2009-12-03

So... I'm getting a new comp really soon, and it will have win7.
I was wondering, is there any problem with win7 and MS like there was with vista?

Still zakum problems from what I hear. I don't have any problems otherwise.

My friend said Zakum problem can be fixed by running in compatibility mode.

Same deal for Horntail.

Did you guys have to do anything to get it to work at all? I'm running Ultimate x64, and I keep getting "unspecified error."

I'm updating windows atm, so if that has anything to do with it, don't bother, but other than that, I've tried compatibility modes, and run as administrator, neither change a thing.

Zakum'd over a few dozen times on 64-bit Win7, and I've followed the same protocol as per Windows Vista. Just run Zakum windowed until last arm, then go to fullscreen. Between my old Vista and Win7, I've been to Zakum over fifty times, and when following this protocol, I've yet to have a single problem. Win7 is smooth, smooth, smooth.

go full screen after the last arm dies?

Windows 7 and MS - XTOTHEL - 2009-12-03

If you're having problems, post the brand of graphic card that you use. I'm thinking if not all of them will be NVidia. I've horntailed on W7 Pro x64 with ATI cards and no problems.

i have the zak and ht d/c issue, but yeah if you run it in window mode for a while then go full screen, like Doctor Omega said Smile

If you try to run in Windows XP SP3 Compatibility mode, HackShield shuts down the Maple startup process and basically says "No."

No, go fullscreen as the 7th arm dies. Fight the last arm, and the rest of the battle fullscreen. Works 100%, every time.

GMSers can play Window mode and switch to full screen whenever they wish..

I don't get the disconnect issue, and I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x86 with an Nvidia Geforce 9800 GTX+.

Zakum problems exist for giant rog when the third form dies too.

Windowing into fullscreen or even just clicking out of the window onto something else and back into it seems to work for me.

For some reason with windows 7 I get stuck in "Extracting: MapleStory.msi". Any suggestions? I have been waiting for 16 minutes......

EDIT: Nvm, just me getting worked up over all the Windows 7 stories. It finished 2 minutes after I posted.

Yea, the self extractor for the maple installer seems really slow, and has been on every machine ive installed maple onto.
