Hi Guys. Since this part of the forum has good discussion, and helpful information, I thought it would be a good idea for you guys to help me evaluate what kind of major I should go for.

I want to major in chemistry, yet I don't know what type of chemistry to major in. I won't major in O-Chem, just because I hate organic chem, hydrocarbons and all that nonsense.

As for background information, I'm in my third year of chemistry; Honors chem, Ap chemistry (5 on the exam), and doing teachers aid for Ap chemistry class.

Biochemistry...for some spice. You're going to have to take Organic any route you take. Probably 2 courses minimum. General, Organic, Physical, Biochemistry. Physical Biochemistry (lol).

And make sure whatever route you take, you're ACS certified. Where are you going to school?
