Does EMS have IP block? - Reflexx - 2009-09-18
I play KMS, and i want to try either GMS, Maplesea, or EMS on the side for fun to try and enjoy the game in english. I tried GMS and Sea and couldnt get it to work. Does eMS have ipblock? also When you download another version of maple when ua lready have KMS downloaded on ur comp, do u have to change any names of files so it doesnt get mixed up?

Yes, EMS does have an IP block. As for the installation directory, you might have to change it depending on where it goes to (I don't know where KMS installs to). For example, GMS defaults to C:\Nexon, while JMS defaults to C:\Program Files\Nexon.

A proxy is hardly playing the other version. A more apt description would be saying that they are playing a turn based version of another version.
Finding a good proxy is like finding a good turnip. You just can't.

Or you can actually use a VPN and not have problems with them blocking proxy.

Like others have said, using a proxy would probably be your best bet. Although I dont know what VPN is.

VPN is a networking program. If you use Hamachi, it's something like that. Though, depending on the host VPN's can be quite slow (speaking through experience with JMS).

Same goes with a proxy however. It depends on connectivity of the middle man.
